yes god forbid we cheer for a decent and good living athlete huh ??? see the cheers Tiger Woods got today when he won ?  now there is someone that has great morals....and the list could go on and on and on .....all anyone has to do is turn the Tv on or look at any print media these days to see EXACTLY who and what we put on pedastals these days.....easy just act like a complete idiot fool and you are rewarded for it....try to act like a decent human being and you get slammed for it....and the sad part is ...now acting a fool is starting at younger and younger ages because that is what is learned and accepted....where is Lawrence Phillips and Michael Irvin and Latrell Sprewell when you need them ....huh guys ???

Ask around people who are active in the baseball forum. I give credit where credit is do. I said the Rangers had zero chance to beat the Yanks after Game 1 of the 2010 ALCS. I was wrong, I ate crow, I went out of my way to let everyone know that and I gave the Rangers the credit they deserve.

Same exact thing with the Tigers this year.

I don't hide if I'm wrong. I rarely rub it in if I'm right, also. But all this hate will make it hard for me to hold back once I'm proved right. And by "proved right"...I mean lose to good teams.

So say what you want. I don't care if people are coming at me talking all this shit now because I know, when it's all said and done, that if I'm wrong, I'll make it known. I won't hide. And if I do...I'm not hard to find if you want to follow me around. And if I'm right...I expect you guys to come up with excuses on why he lost.

And you know why the defense was lit up today against a Vikings team without Adrian Peterson? Because Von Miller was out.

People seem to not understand that one defensive end can make such a big difference. Look at the Lions without Suh. And look at the Broncos without Von Miller. Ponder didn't set a rookie Vikings record because he's a great QB. He did so because he had less pressure than he normally would.

With that said...it shows how important early in the season was with the injury of Dumervill and why their defense was getting lit up.

Von Miller makes a big difference. And no...it's not the "same". Early in the season they had injuries to DJ Williams and Elvis Dumervil.

And the Giants don't win the superbowl in 2007 if Tyree doesn't catch the ball on his helmet.

It's big plays that make the game. The defense didn't win that game. But without the early TD and the late INT...the Broncos don't win. And without Tebow making some solid plays...the Broncos don't win.

People need to learn that it's always a TEAM EFFORT.

Tebow gives you the final drive of a football game after making one completion the entire game and he's Godlike.

The defense gives you the final stand along with a TD and still get ZERO CREDIT.

I've noticed how you choose not to respond to his most important posts.

Why give Tebow all the credit for one drive yet no credit to the defense's 2 important plays.

I mean...the game against the Jets had about 2 good plays come from Tebow yet he's amazing.

TT is not a great passer. TT is a winner and a leader that his team mates will run through a wall for.

Football is the ultimate team game. If one person does not do his job the play is busted. Give me a guy of moderate ability who brings up the level of the whole team over some uber talented idiot every time.

The league will adjust to what TT and Den is doing, but look for TT to adjust and learn and grow as well. As to Elway's comments, keep in mind that he's the president of the orginazation that drafted him. Just keeping TT's head on straight IMO.

The bottom line is that football is entertainment, and watching a guy like TT defy the odds and win is fun. I guess hating on him is fun too; for some.

 His response you can never win in NFL without being able to pass. I say look at Griese, Morrall, Dilfer.(using very valid points brought up in this thread)...He gets it but he still HATES Tebow. No chance of convincing him, NO WAY!!

Point is so many people feel like you and can't stand him and think he will never be a great QB without being a GREAT PASSER. I could tell the other guy sitting with him didn't like Tebow either and did NOT want any part of the conversation.

Tebow is obviously, VERY VERY polarizing. I really feel the one thing that REALLY makes them dislike Timmy is that he using his successful, on field skill set, as a platform for his off field religious beliefs. His arrogance of not respecting other people, not just NFL fans at that, by pushing his religious agenda, some find inapropriate and not wanting to hear any of his bs after games or whenever else. Personally, it doesn't  bother me but others, I can see why they DON"T care for him and  just adds fuel to the fire that "TEBOW SUCKS"

I'm not a Tebow "hater". That term is thrown around an awful lot. I'm not hating on him. I'm annoyed at all the undeserved credit he's getting from people.

Remember when LeBron was in Cleveland? It was LeBron and 4 other guys. This is the same thing only it's Tebow and 51 other guys. The difference is LeBron plays 95% of the game and goes away in the final 5%. Tebow is the opposite. And congrats to him. But that doesn't make you great. That only makes you great in certain situations.

So now you're just spewing shit out of your mouth for a reaction. You're no longer trying to make a point...only trying to get me mad.
