I agree. And he was given the job at the best possible time. After a BYE week against some bad teams. I'll gladly say I'm wrong if he goes on a beats some solid teams. But after 5 games against shitty teams he's being called great. Really? That's a joke.

Tim Tebow would lead a game winning drive against the 72 dolphins!!!!

He also would have picked off Tom Brady to the house to stop the Pats 16-0 season.

I can understand that. I don't put them as a great team either. But I don't see him going in there and beating the Chargers.

But it also adds to how easy his schedule is.

I bet he would. If his defense could hold the deficit to under a touchdown on the final drive. But nobody gives them credit. It's all Tebow.

Tebow's great but the Broncos defense allowed 15.5 ppg in the 4 games he won as opposed to Orton's 5 starts where the defense allowed 28 ppg.

Orton was a turnover machine. Saw him make horrendous throws.

How many times did Tebow turn it over tonight?

Sure the bye helped to a degree, but with that talent that Denver has on offense? Are you kidding me?

Outside of LT Ryan Clady, no ONE on this offense will scare any defense. He's playing with a bunch of no name guys that plays hard and rallies around him. Imagine if he had better talent surrounding him.

You might not believe in him along with a myriad of others, but the players believe in him and as a team, they're getting it done. Bottom line.

Ball control and clock management also help your defense

Record of teams starting against Tim Tebow: 22-24 (1 of 5 teams over .500 which was their only loss).

The kid takes over a 1-4 shit team that has thrown in the towel for the season and goes 4-1 getting them back to .500 yet the Tebow haters still bitch, moan, and complain.

All he can do is play the teams that are scheduled yet his wins get completely disregarded by the haters because he didn’t beat a powerhouse.  Never mind that Tebow himself plays on a terrible team and was a dog in every single one of his games.

Yes. He's won in these situations that he's been given. But all these people labeling him great are insane. He hasn't shown that he can beat a good team yet.

Listen I am a huge Tebow fan but will admit he does not have all the skill set to bew a long term NFL QB.

I believe his throwing will improve and he will get more talent around him.

Without Tebow, the Broncos would be like 2-7 right now. The guy deserved most of the credit because in the NFL the QB gets too much credit when you win and too much flack when you lose. Thats how it was before Tebow and will be after him. With that being said.

    Tebow! Tebow! Tebow!!!

Fast forward 10 years to Tebow....shitty armslot, questionable footwork, but dynamic on the ground in his own bruising way. His ability to process information and read defenses is light years ahead of where Vick was...yet all I hear about is the fucking passing stats.

Tim Tebow is the most polarizing figure in the NFL since the old Raider's defenses during the John Madden years.  People either love him or hate him.

Personally, I think it is more entertaining watching  his teammates, fans and media react to what he does on the field rather than  to actually watch him play.  That being said, I like to see the Broncos win just to shove it up Mel Kiper's ass.

According to espn Tebow has 10 TDs and 1 turnover in addition to being 4-1 as a starter on a shit team.

But of course he doesn’t have pretty stats so all that is meaningless, right haters?

I personally think Pat White could be Tebow-esc if he played for a team whose head coach threw out the playbook to play his style of football and was given a chance. But he wasn't given a chance because, well, who the fuck is Pat White?

Sure...he wouldn't do it at the same degree as Tebow because Tebow is the BEST at this style offense...and apparently, if you're not THE BEST, you won't get a shot.

It's about matchups. The reason he lost to Detroit was they do one thing really well on defense, kill the QB. Once you get past the line of scrimmage, they are below average. The Jets D is predicated on coverage, they rank nearly at the bottom in sacks. They are built on making you work for every yard and on turnovers.

If you work hard at gaining yardage and have a good defense, you're in good shape against the Jets. Jet had alot going against them. Short week made shorter by having to play late Sunday, travel west to high altitude, against an opponent completely different than anything you played (especially compared to the Pats), hungry opponent that needs win, and the Jets only have an average rush defense. Also, a ton of people are betting Jets, line has risen 2 points in past 48 hours.

OMG stop now. I am a huge Fins fan and Pat White was the worst draft pick I have ever seen. He sucked, terribly.

    Keep digging a deep hole.

Are you serious? This forum is to gamble at critisize players. Whether it be good or bad. Do you give every single player who plays professional sports props because they do something that some guys who post on the internet can't do?

Do you support Carlos Zambrano beacuse he can throw a fastball over 90 mph and you can't, despite everything else that is wrong with that guy?

Pat White was half the man Tebow is. Tebow is a large man at 242 pounds.

Pat White was like 180 soaking wet with change in his pocket.

Tebow also won 2 national championships, how many did White Win?

    Sound familiar?

Who are you to degrade Pat White? If I can't degrade Tim Tebow...than why can you degrade Pat White?

And did the Miami offense throw out the entire playbook to play West Virginia style football like the Broncos did for Tebow?
