What about McGahee's fumble that lead to a Jets game tying fg?

What about the fumble that Jets Matt Slauson fell on in the end zone for the go ahead Jets score?

There is no reason to hate on him anymore, he went from "3rd string" lol to winning more games than the Eagles team… lol

They don't even allow him to play until they have to let him loose to win and look what keeps happening every week. He has no players around him, AT ALL, no WR's that can make plays or even catch the ball, no good OL and a coach calling plays like it's a middle school game. He is finding ways to win DESPITE all this, the guys rally around him and play better. Kyle Orton =1-4, Tebow = 4-1

Exactly. It's all a part of the game. But Tebow had one drive in the entire game that was worth anything. Yes...it was the most important drive of the game. But when you only have 2-3 good drives in a game...MAX...you won't be successful long term.

Vince Young is the best comparison for Tebow. Imagine if Jeff Fisher let him do what he wanted to do like Fox is doing with Tebow.

I've always been on the side that has said he won't be successful. And yes...he's doing more than I had expected. But that was after the coach threw out his entire game plan to give Tebow a shot. I just don't think he's good. He has the ability to drive the field in close games. He's a born winner. But right now he's not facing teams that are relevant. When he starts beating teams that are relevant...than call him great. But after 5 starts against some bad teams..."great" is just absurd.

And now the new saying is "They just got Tebowed". Really? It's just stupid. I don't even care about how he prays after touchdowns. Yea..."Thank God for opening those holes for me" or whatever he prays for. I just think it's dumb to praise him like this.

Like I said...I'm a Giants fan. I was happy that they were winning to start the season...but I wasn't overracting because of WHO they beat. Just like last season when they started how they did against terrible teams just to play terrible down the road when good competition came.

I judge teams/players based on competition. If you beat Kansas City, Miami, Indy, Minnesota and the Rams and get excited over those wins...you won't know what hit you when you face a good team...like when the Broncos played the Lions. And like the Broncos wont know what hit them when they face the Patriots and Bears.

Who the hell said he was great?

Tebow is getting so much praise/attention because he took over as QB of a shitty 1-4 team that had thrown in the towel and went 4-1 being a dog in every game.  And he did in a way no one has ever seen before.

I respect you sparky, but seriously, get over it.

What in the world has Blaine Gabbert, etc....etc..Kevin Kolb....they might be able to throw an out pattern but they throw picks all over the place and this guy does not.  Give him a real offseason in the NFL, and he'll improve dramatically.  Tebow wins games and he will continue to and he is not going away.  Hard for some to take but if you were on the Jets in this game, you're as sucker as they come and you should retire.

agreed spark. loved every minute of the detroit game and cant wait for the chargers, pats and bears matchups. Think buffalo takes care of business also  and jared allen and the boys give him fits in that game. Expect a 2-4 or 1-5 record from here on out with the possible wins being against buffalo and minny.

All that said I give him credit for finding ways to win but dont see long term success for him for him at all. We will see i guess

@castorinho ... Ask his wr's if he makes them better. Lol ask the te's if he makes them better. You can be a tebow gambit all u want. The guy hasn't beat a good team in his career. He's lucky if he hit air when he throws the ball. He can't read a defense to save his life. His own coach admits they have to run a gimmick offense. Fact is he plays in a terrible division and has only barley beat bad teams. LMFAO good luck with tebow.

This thread title should have instead read, "Hey guys, Mark Sanchez still sucks."

However, Denver played great defense and was the major reason the Broncos won.

Tebow plays with alot of  heart and enthusiasm and is exciting to  watch because he  reminds us of the common man.  nobody says he  would  be  a good QB in the pros.  i  dont  think he  will be  able to keep this  up, because eventually they will play a  team (sooner than  later) who actually  has  a  defense. NOT THE JETS and he  will  get  beat up.  I think its a matter of time  before someone  lays a crushing hit  to his  ribs or  knees and he  will not continue to be an effective running qb

    Archdriver-

Well said- sooner or later, when a QB runs that much in the NFL it catches up to them- I love Tebow's heart and the fact he is such a good guy. I don't hate on him. But if any of you think he will be a long term success as an NFL QB when he goes 9-20 for 104 yds per game then you need to get your head out of the sand. Sooner or later those types of performances wear a team out. He will start getting hit and the what? If he could improve his accuracy and read a defense then he could be really good. But playing in the offense they have now designed for him won't allow him to do that. No need to read a defense when you throw the ball 10-15 times a game. Correct me if i am wrong but isn't he 4-3 as a starter now? Let's just see how many games he wins if he doesn't improve statistically. Not saying he can't improve but how he is playing right now (while inspiring) doesnt bode well for long term success. By the way i had money on  the under and will bet the under on every Broncos game since they can't score and the defense is playing lights out. Let's give them some credit as well.

Right place Right again for Broncos.  I ignored the signs and picked the jets 27-10

.Jets D played good they held Broncs to 130 yards or so before there last score. Under 200 yrds totalYes they fell asleep on there late blitz where the Broncs scored but in general they shut down broncs .This loss is soley on Sanchez.Even when he completes a pass its late and the reciever doesnt even have the room to make a play ,instead of beng tackled immediately ,It happened twicw to balls to Keller. Plax was doubled teamed all nite and Sanchez still tries to thread the needle and throws another interception.. And where was Holmes ,He should of be able to shake the old Champ Baiey No deep routes to Holmes at all ,all his catches were short gains. Jets had to Punt 8times in a row  .Jets have no running game  at all ,which is where the problem starts . Say whatever u want about Tebow the Quarterback but Tebow the playmaker ,is doing something right

    Blowoutgm, I agree..

Listen, here is a message to all the "haters" (which include myself); Be patient.  Trust me, since Tebow is winning, we are on the losing side of the arguement.  Just sit back, let ESPN and all the Tebow fanatics do their talking.. . And be patient.

Over the course of an NFL season, you will play teams that are conservative and then run into a buzz saw of an offense.  Tim Tebow is a good quarterback, but he is terribly inaccurate, and you simply can not win championships with the way he throws the ball.  Can you beat an inept Miami team?  Yep.  Raiders (with a quarterback who just go off the couch?) Yep.  Chiefs (with thier high school offense?) Yep. And so on, and so on...  But you don't play teams like that every week (especially in their terrible division).  So. As of right now, until the Brocons play more teams (like the Lions), the "haters" will be on the losing side.

Tebow and the Broncos are going to win games.. but they will consistently be around .500.  Hell, the fans were booing in that game (after their 8th straight punt).  My guess is this; The fans love it now, but over the course of the season(s); it will get old.  136 yards of total offense will not cut it and eventually they will get tired of winning, and most of all losing, close ball games.

It's all roses and candy now.  But just wait until game after game, they see their team punt... and while doing it, lose against teams that have an actual offense.  It will get really old, really fast for Denver fans.

    So just be patient.

Tim Tebow has got what his doubters don't have - the chemical compound called WINNER in his DNA

How many QBs have turned the game on it's head consistently like Tebow? He doesn't exactly have the best receivers. If he played in a team with great receivers he would be awesome.

Sure his mechanics ain't all that flash but give him a summer and he will be a Franchise QB coz he has good work ethic, desire and God on his side.

Spooker.  You couldn't be more wrong.  Tebow had at least 5 to 6 wide open recievers last night.  WIDE OPEN.  And he couldn't get them the ball.  The guy simply isn't accurate.. .. and to state otherwise, you have blinders on.  I don't care if he had Jerry Rice and Randy Moss, when he doesn't even get the ball in the area, they can't catch it.  Wake up bud.  Tebow simply can't get them the ball.  End of story.

Bingo!  Tebow is one hit away from being injured...he may have success now but in the long term a team can not win with w rushing qb like him.

We GET IT.  You're a hater.  No matter what Tim does in the NFL you'll continue to point to his flawed mechanics, his mediocre at best stats and on and on and on.

You MIGHT want to try to be a LITTLE objective.  While I don't buy the Tim Tebow kool aid, there are a few facts you are leaving out.

    1.  Tebow is essentially still a rookie QB in terms of games started.  He's dealing with the second HC in two years and the second offensive system.  You might want to realize how difficult it is to adapt to a new system in the NFL.  Nah, I'm sure that Tebow would be the ONLY QB to struggle when a new HC came in - and without a full training camp and OTA's to help him understand the new system.

    2.  Management in Denver WANTS Tebow to fail.  Name me another team that throws a young QB to the wolves AFTER trading their only true NFL WR??  Denver has less true talent at the skill positions on offense than pretty much every other team in the league.

So yeah, Tebow is flawed, and probably won't make it as an NFL QB.  You keep beating the dead horse.  We get it - he lost to Detroit.  He has only beaten weak teams.

The only thing worse than someone who thinks Tebow is great, is someone with nothing better to do than rip him time after time.

    Teblow is still 4-1.

All I know is this guy has been a personal ATM machine for me since his Florida days.  Remember the 2008 SEC championship game?  FLA favored by 8, down by 4 4 minutes into the 4th quarter of a tight game.  BAM! BAM!  2 TDs to cover late.

Were bettors not coaches in the trenches.  If he ran backwards and had no religious views behind him and was 10-1 ATS would you guys REALLY care that much how he got it done?  I think not.

No one says it but its because of his off field stuff that behind all the hate but hey, keep it up!  Gets me better lines to win more money!

Just remember, dont fuck with Jesus.  Ha.
