2 things.
Westbrook played against the Saints. Just check the boxscore for Pete's sake! THAT was the game he got injured in from a hard tackle in the 3rd quarter I believe.
Secondly. They looked ordinary against the Bills and Jets? A 20 point victory on the road and a 14 point victory is ordinary? Do you not realize the Jets score could have easily been 31-10? The Lions 52-27 in not for the mercy of Payton kneeling inside the 5 yard line and a Bush run called back for a phantom hold?
Ok, I lied...3 things.
Check the Saints O-line. It's physical, athletic, and nasty. There may not be a better set of guards in the league. The lack of a run game has purely been injuries and Sean Payton lacking discipline to stick with it. All that has changed in '09.

Wrong! It's not a "gut-feeling" that the Saints can beat the Giants. The best form of handicapping is watching as many games as possible. Not picking through stats and trends. I'd say its the opposite. It's a "gut-feeling" that would make people pick the Giants simply because their player names are known more than Saints players.
History means absolutely NOTHING for this upcoming game. Every day is a new day and every game is a new game. The Saints have been on this stage before, being that it's only a regular season game and an early one. Mind you the Saints had some VERY good teams when they played in the same division as the Montana/Rice 49ers. This type of game is nothing new to the Saints franchise AT ALL. Truth be told, nothing is really on the line except early bragging rights.
Lastly, the Saints truly have the talent equal to or above the Giants at every spot. Just because the names aren't household yet doesn't change that.

Kolb threw 3 ints. And Eagles fumbled the kickoff after the half at a time that the Eagles were only down by one score.

The Saints intercepted Kolb 3 times. Malcolm Jenkins knocked the ball away from the kick returner, it didn't just fall out of his hands from opposing fan prayers. The Saints have been practicing creating those types of turnovers since OTAs.
