i hate that fade play more then any other play in football. unless you got an andre johnson or big receiver its such a waste of  a play. hits at such a low rate.

i agree completely.  most teams should never consider running it.  you need a tall receiver with great hands who is strong enough to fight off the defender.  if you have that, then you need a perfect pass and hope the defender doesn&#x27;t defend it because the receiver is always covered.  it&#x27;s a low percentage play in the best of circumstances.  many times, it has no chance like tonight.  to run it twice in a row is incomprehensible.

hakeem nicks is all of those things.. even though i did disagree with throwing it to beckham the second time.

nicks is those things although not in the same category as the very few receivers you&#x27;d want to throw that to, like CJ.  even if he is, it still needs to be executed perfectly for it to even have a chance.  the opnly thing you know for sure on every fade pass is the receiver will bbe covered.  to run it once when you have jacobs and 4 yards to go is a bad idea most of the time.  to run it twice is beyond bad coaching.

It seemed like the Giants spent most of the 1st half in the red zone and had absolutely nothing in their back pocket that the Cowboys weren&#x27;t waiting for. Very poor,unimaginative play-calling even on the pass plays. The fade pattern is seldom seen beyond the college ranks.

we&#x27;ve sen this a few times with the giants.  jacobs is running well.  eli is throwing the ball very well and they got a big turnover just before the half.  it&#x27;ll be a shame if they lose because the coaches are idiots.

another fade.  should have been intercepted if the dallas defender didn&#x27;t jump too early.
