All due respect to Pittsburgh, as a Cowboy fan I have to respect them since they beat us this year, but they do not have a good offense.  They score in the clutch and when their defense creates turnovers giving them field position.  Just check out the Steelers last 10 games.  Name me one impressive offensive performance besides the San Diego playoff game last week against a defense that had been playing playoff football for essentially 6 weeks.  Pitt just does not consistently go out and score 30 every week.  They rely on defense and field position.  If Arizona can avoid turning the ball over, I think they have a great chance to keep this within the number.  I can see a close game with Pitt scoring at the end or pulling off a huge defensive play to seal the game, but i think this one stays close.

Another thing I wanted to point out/get a feel for what you guys think about it:

Whisenhunt and Grimm coached at high levels in Pitt(o-coordinator and offensive line coach if I believe).  I could be mistaken, but i'm pretty sure alot of the core players on the steelers from that coaching staff that won the super bowl are still with Pitt(Big Ben, Hines, Willie Parker, i'm sure there are others).  Is nobody buying into the theory that these coaches know the players intimately(know their strengths and weaknesses more than most people) and with 2 weeks to help create a defensive gameplan on these same players, they should be able to scheme one hell of a game to slow down Pitt on Offense.

Worst team in the history of this great league to be in the Superbowl...did you see Warner crying and whining early on in Philly game?....He will need to have a good talk to jesus before the game to keep his head from being completely ripped off !...Steelers cover in a boring smashmouth performance...Cardinals are a cute story that must now go away and f.......off!

Pittsburgh West and the ties to the Pittsburgh Area. Here are the names. Wisenhunt, Grimm,Haley, St Pierre, Fitzgerald, Hayes, Breaston, Wells,Haggans, Morey, Miller, Raich,Spencer,Austin.....I wouldn't be surprised if the Pittsburgh's West wear black and Gold underwear. Is Wisenhunt can't get into Big Bens head, they need to try another Steeler assistant as head coach. I think he doesn't do it, Steelers East will roll.

Total yards 301-282 for ARZ
Time of Possession: 32:12 to 27:88 PIT

Score: 21-14 deciding spread came from a 73 yard punt return TD for ARZ.

Considering this game was played in the dome with Whisenhunt and Grimm "knowing this offense" 14 points and 301 yards from this offense is rather disappointing. Even more disappointing when you consider Troy Polamalu and Casey Hampton never even played in that game.

Take Pittsburgh.  Arizona is over-acheiving, no doubt but the Pitt D is too strong.  Pitt has the best Defense statistically, and in practice.  The undoing of the Cards will be their inability to run the ball.  This will allow the Steelers to pound the pass and pound Warner.  The Pitt offense is mediocre but they can score points.

i'd like to see boldin put his money where his mouth is. lets see if he comes out big time, makes big plays. i hope toad haley doesn't feel like he has to send balls to boldin to shut his mouth. we know that fitz is a proven winner and a big play man. keep sending the ball to fitz, that's their only hope.........if anyone can handle polu it's him. hightower with have a big day .........reminds me like eric dickerson..........with a bird on his helmut.

And Matt Leinart drove AZ down the field on the final drive to put AZ up for good... Matt Leinart!

And we did not even have Boldin playing...

This AZ team is completely different...

Something else to consider this: Pittsburgh has played 2 of the top 7 passing teams this season in Indy and Houston and given up an average of over 20 points per game. Both were home games for Pittsburgh where their defense is off the charts, and more importantly, Arizona passes for close to 30 pts per game more than either. For these reasons, i'm leaning on the CARDs to pull it off. 

To hedge my wagerline pick, i'll have to bet heavy with the Cards and the OVER, if i win the wagerline pick (Steelers and UNDER), i'll win 1g, but if the Cards are rolling, then it will most likely be CArDS with the OVER.

This game will very simply come down to Pittsburgh's defense against Arizona's passing attack. Pit will pressure Warner consistently in this game and historically Warner does not perform well when he doesn't have much time in the pocket. I'm sure Zona will have many check downs and quick passes to try and beat the Pittsburgh blitz, but I don't think it will be enough. Pittsburgh will get to Warner and make him turn the ball over or make him take sacks for big losses.
