Leaned Texans then started thinking about Chargers. that line has been going back and forth and my opinion has as well . Demeco Ryans good preseason record 70% win rate altho Week 1 preseason record is average just 2-2. Only thing making me hesitant is Graham Mertz, one bad and one decent preseason game last year but that is not enough for me to judge.
There is backup QB battle heating up between Trey Lance and DJ Uguialelei or however you spell it. Maybe Chargers are planning to cut it to 2 QBs. Lance gets 1H, DJ gets the other. Texans QB depth shrank from 4 to 3. Not sure if they're planning to keep all 3 looks like they will again. Seems like Mills is the firm #2 and Mertz not likely to challenge Mills. Mertz probably plays 3 quarters.
Jim Harbaugh seems to struggle against the Texans whether playoff, regular or preseason. I think I will just skip this one...

Saturday pick:
Ravens +3.5(-102)
Ravens ml +158 *small*
I know Harbs isn't there anymore and with it his great preseason record, but I think Ravens have drafted some decent talent and have a knack for finding undrafted gems that make it to the roster every preseason. Might be a blessing that Skylar Thompson is out and they got UFL Renegades QB Austin Reed to fill an extra camp arm. If he makes an appearance in the 2H I think he will be more game ready than the other QB. Joey Fagnano and Reed might surprise I'll take them over Tanner McKee and Cole Payton(described as a gunslinger and not afraid to sling it in heavy coverage) hopefully that leads to a nice turnover into points late in the game. Like last preseason, Ravens were home underdog in week 1 steamed up high as +6. I thought that was disrespectful and I think they shouldn't be underdogs in this game either. Line went from +2.5 to +3.5. Eagles probably slightly better than Ravens. Eagles GM has upstage Ravens in roster construction last several year and based on their recent sucesses so naturally they should be the favorite. the line to me should be Eagles -1.5.

Leaned Lions +7, initial impression seems like a lot of points. Dan Cambpell likes to gamble , goes for it on 4th downs and dumb plays etc so there is that volatile element. They either win or get blown tf out. Maybe Lions could be good live 2H play for a garbage backdoor if they're behind by alot. Holding off for now cuz I don't trust both coaches in preseason

As you well know, we are somehow so motivated in the preseason. It's pretty nuts. Let's see if that was Harbaugh getting the troops more fired up, our later round selections year after year, or our organization taking every game seriously. I don't think it's just luck though.
I never play the preseason other than watch to educate but good to see you back brother. Hopefully the Ravens can get us to the Super Bowl this year

Good to see you LAG. I think it was a combination of all three. I'm not sure Harbaugh will replicate the same success in New York. I am considering taking the Giants on Saturday, with Kyler Murray already being the official starter for the Vikings. I am hoping a coaching change is what was all that was needed for the Ravens to get over the hump
