Contemplating the biggest bet of my life... Need input

So let me start this off by saying I normally bet 100-300 a game and on rare occurrences I've bet 500-1,000 on a game. This biggest bet of my life was 3,000.

I am a die hard 49ers fan and I feel like I know my team inside n out. This year has been frustrating for me and it pains me to say it but I've made money fading the 49ers lately, especially on thanksgiving. Which leads me to why I am starting this thread. I've been reading everything u could possibly imagine all week in regards to this Sunday's game with Seahawks. I can honestly say there is 0% of me that thinks the 49ers cover the 9.5 spread. I currently have $2,000 on Seattle -9.5 already but I am contemplating adding $7,500 more. This would be hands down the biggest bet of my life by a long shot. I've been talking to a bunch of friends all week who all think this will play out the same way I do. Gonna have a bunch of friends come over to watch the game with me.

So here is where I'm at... I'm reaching out to the covers forum to see if anybody on here has anything they feel like I am missing. Can someone talk me about of making this the bet of my life? Besides pride for the 49ers...

I usually would never take a double digit fav in division. But I am here. Don't see how Niners will score in this game in Seattle. Usually teams will make adjustments after getting embarrassed at home but sometimes you're just overmatched plain and simple. Niners are in disarray and Seattle has hit its stride. Sincer they got Waggoner back they have looked like last years Defense. They will be tough tomorrow at home. Can't see Niners scoring over 10 unless they get Defensive or special team points. Of course there is always the back door to wory about. Because of that and it being a big spread in division I don't think I would make this 3 times as big of a bet as you've ever made before. Live to fight another day. This is the NFL so anything can happen and there are some good capers on Niners this week

Tough call. I think the niners cover the number. They got absolutley embarrased on Thanksgiving. 

Although I agree with the pick, you know as well as I do that this is pro sports, and you know as well as I do that in sports, anything can happen.  We've all seen crazy things happen.  If you are ok with risking almost 10k$ on one game knowing that the only guarantee in sports is that there is no guarantee, then the more power to you.  If it was that easy to make money gambling then no one would work and vegas would be broke.  #foodforthought #moneymanegement #anythingcanhapen

100-300 dollar bets and you want to lay 10k on this game?  NOT good money management.. Just think if it loses... get a piece of paper and write your thoughts on what it would feel like to lose 10k.. 

If the talk of Kaepernick letting lose is true you're in trouble. That's what killed the Seahawks in last years playoff game. Seattle Defense will lose its structure if Kap gets running. 

Anytime Colin Kaepernick is throwing for the side you bet against, you can feel better. Still not a sure thing. But WOW is he bad! Can't read a defense. Can't get rid of the ball quickly. Doesn't want to run (which is his strength).....all of this adds up to a better chance for you to win your wager.

 

By the way. I like Kaepernick. I just see how limited he really is.

I think Seattle will cover, but hated rivals -9.5 I would just stick with the 2k bet, I know what happens when you get greedy

I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the niners will cover tomorrow.. Im like 95% sure and I'm not even kidding.. 

Im all over San Francisco Moneyline!! +345...If any team can beat Seattle at home its San Fran. There is a small thing called PRIDE and I would expect the Niners to show some after getting they behind beat on Thanksgiving and lettin Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson eat a dry behind Thanksgiving turkey on their homefield... 

Your largest wager should be on the Super Bowl Imo good tho anyways . Niners do suck and the Hawks are playing in the 12th with intentions of a playoff run so you got the pieces

Stay away from this. There is something called west gate destinations. It's a big NFL pool and all the top spots win close to $70-100k per guy.
All the top 1-5 players all have 49ers as 1 of there 5 picks to cover this week. Just my input.
I also like Seattle but once I seen this im staying away. I may even follow them and take 49ers

wouldn't make your biggest play ever a dd fav in a divisional game.  Initially leaning SF here but after seeing this finding it hard to back harbaugh and this squad.  He literally looks and sounds like the inevitable sunday raping is on its way

Hedge your $2k, ~9.5 bet on Seattle by taking Seattle ML at ~450, which would cover about 3/4ths of an ATS Seattle loss, should the Niners cover.

But I can't imagine the Niners winning SU in Seattle. No way. No how.

But the Niners' D could keep the game close.

Just can't see the niners scoring in seattle to keep this close. The only game the niners stood a chance was in the post season when it had a trip to the super bowl on the line. Any other game in Seattle the niners have gotten waxed and have struggled to score. We are banged up defensively, bowman still won't be back. Our starting center Martin isn't 100% and questionable. We have gotten away from our identity with pounding the rock. Whenever u get away from who you are it doesn't bode well. I just can't see some drastic change heading into this one. The team looks like they are going through the motions looking ahead to the off season. The raiders game was absolutely pitiful in a game we couldn't afford to not have. Arizona goes into St. Louis and wins, putting more pressure on the Seahawks to come prepared tomorrow and win. Sure a win doesn't mean a cover, just feel like they will be the more focused team. I honestly feel like the 49ers won't score a TD in this one.

To answer an earlier poster, yes I normally bet 100-300 a game with the occasional 500-1000 a game. Like I said this would be the largest bet of my life. Obviously if that's the case then it's gonna be a lot higher then my normal bet. The $2,000 that's already on this would be my play of the year so 10k for the play of my life makes sense. Just feel like there aren't too many times were something sticks out so much imo so I wanna capitalize on it. I could be wrong and its no guarantee.

Losing the 2k bet would hurt, losing the 10k bet would suck major balls lol but I can afford to take the hit, lick my wounds and move on if I do it and if that were to happen

Thanks everyone for the input and opinions. I know needing a DD win in a divisional game isn't usually the kind of situation u wanna be in for such a large wager. This game would've been 6-7 had the niners did what they were suppose to do in oakland last week. And had the niners done so I wouldn't be contemplating this bet
