If you want a good laugh, look at the comments beneath this post at Profootballtalk about the Patiots lame excuse for McNaly being called "The Deflator"

Year before he got injured? 300 ypg, 50 TDs, 8 ints, 4806 yards.

300 yards per game throwing dinks………………………….right

You want to know what Cassel led the league in his one year? HE GOT SACKED 47 TIMES.

He was so bad, and getting sacked so often, Belichick altered his “system”. The Patriots were 7-5, and decided to go with the ground game. They averaged almost 180 yards rushing, and won the last four to make the wild card.

Yes, Cassel never started in college. That’s because he STARTED BEHIND TWO HEISMAN WINNERS, Carson Palmer and Matt Leinhart. Call me when you find another guy that this happened to.

Sorry this doesn’t fit your narrative, MissB*tch, but you are the southbound end of a northbound jack*ss.

And, if it’s just a “system”, how come that “system” didn’t work when Cassel went to Kansas City? Scott Pioli, formerly from NE, gets named GM of the KC Chiefs, and signs Cassel as a free agent. Why? Because it’s so easy to run the Patriots “system”, right? 4 wins later, I guess the “system” doesn’t work all the time, everywhere…………

Brady is all about himself? So, when he wins SB MVP, and gives the truck to the guy that made the pick, he’s all about himself?

    Wrong again, moron

    Well said Hawk .

All these excuses why a stiff like Cassel was a top 10 QB is laughable

What will be your excuse when Garoppolo wins because it's coming

My advice is watch the games and come to the realization that throwing 5 and 10 yard passes which is all that Brady does , takes no special skill set and he could be replaced by just about anyone and the results will be the same .

Save this post 7 years down the line when the Patriots will still be going to Super Bowls  long after this fraud is gone

Everyone here with all the Brady BS should load up on Pittsburgh game 1,  without Revis the defense most likey will not be as strong and without Hall of Fame Tommy how can they possibly win .

    It's your big chance for a score  Mr W isn't it ?

I know i'll be loading up on the Patriots with a deflated line because the public is just as stupid as most of the people in this forum

Garoppolo will be just fine and probably play better than than the old stiff would have

He called himself the deflator because that is his JOB! He deflates them when the get the new ball to work them in, then he deflates them as necessary to achieve the 12.5.

There is no evidence or texts of illegal deflating after checked balls!

The Patriots came out today and said the term deflated has nothing to do with footballs but McNally was trying to lose weight

But in a day when you have a QB who can only throw 5 - 10 yard passes and people think it's great anything's possible

"All these excuses why a stiff like Cassel was a top 10 QB is laughable"

Read the post, stupid. I actually pointed out how BAD Cassel was.

Your comprehension level is what is "laughable"

The other thing is i don't have time reading all the BS i don't need to

I can watch a football game and a QB performance and know what's difficult and what's easy,  Brady makes all easy throws that anyone can do

There are Zero Arron Roger moment's with Brady on a football field when you watch him and say i couldn't do that that , that takes a special talent  this never happens with Brady ,if you ever played the game of football at any level

Perhaps you can quote all the people that agree with you.

If Brady makes easy throws anyone can do, why aren't there more like him?

CHERRY PICKING  ?  ENTIRE 2011 SEASON  BRADY COMPARED TO OTHER QB'S

These are Bradys splits on Balls thrown 30 yds + in the air for the year of  2011 compared to some other QB's

     Brady 1-15 (6.7%), 46 yds, 3.1 ypa, 0 td, 0 int

What a joke and  this is for the whole entire year of 2011  compare him to others QB's

    Brees: 10-21 (47.6%), 442 yds, 21.0 ypa, 6 td, 1 int
    Rodgers: 11-20 (55.0%), 526 yds, 26.3 ypa, 6 td, 0 int

    Rivers: 9-31 (29.0%), 370 yds, 11.9 ypa, 6 td, 4 int

And, just for fun, two more:

Why is it when you look at things that show ability and talent Brady not only comes up short but the worst .

Like i said thank god for Brady it's a team game and not Boxing or  golf team wins and results don't signify talent

When the Patriots keep winning the same with Garoppolo maybe you'll all start to understand

Oh course your done cause your making a fool of yourself

I'm worried about the 30+ yard passes ?  what it does is back up what iv'e been saying  he' a system QB in a short passing ball control offense he' a below average QB throwing a football downfield .

And if it's Cassel Garroppolo or Brady it don't mater the Patriots will win cause there in a stinky division it's a stinky league and a short passing ball control offense wins games in the NFL

But don't fool yourself Brady is not nothing special the Patriots are set up to be in the Super Bowl every year and that will continue as long as Belichick is coach,  or a short passing ball control system continues
