Phucking idiot, get a clue. Appreciate the greatness you have witnessed, he is the G.O.A.T. to even argue that is silly. Name me a QB that isn't a "system" QB? They all play in a system that brings out their best, I am talking about the great ones.

He has won more with less around him than any other QB in the history of the game. G.O.A.T. bar none. Save your energy, I will not be back to read your nonsense.

Were the balls up to par when Brady went 13 for 14 and 2 TD's in the Super bowl with the Patriots down 10 against the best defense in the NFL and one of the best ever?  Anyone who thinks he is the only QB that likes his balls a certain way or anyone who thinks the inflation of the balls has anything to do with his lifetime success is clueless and should not be allowed to watch football. Carry on hater. Hate us cause you ain't us.

The Commissioner is the biggest hypocrite of all time. He is the worst crook. Greedy, thinks he is a King.

He looks for controversy to keep the NFL in the headlines for months at a time, no matter how it harms anyone's reputation.

Yes, we are talking 2 pounds of freaking air , lol.

Blaming a quarterback when he should have control of all the footballs in the NFL.  Because I would bet a million that all the NFL balls are not the same psi on any given Sunday.

Any suspension at all is garbage.  This "punishment" has no precedent, no basis, no substance.

Let us not forget that 3 out of the 4 gameballs used by the Colts that were tested also came in under the parameters established by the league.

This was a political witch hunt pure and simple. You are not supposed to be able to win championships with the personnel that the Patriots have; this challenges all conventional wisdom, and quite frankly makes the rest of the NFL look very bad.

The NFL is about mediocrity. IF you excel, and find ways to best the competition, then you will be rung up on a technicality.

Like I said before, the referee spots the ball before every offensive play that the Patriots run. If he cannot tell if a ball is regulation with his bare hand, BEFORE the play is run, then it is not a foul. Period.

Yet we only heard about the balls being flat in the AFC championship game; and of course the insinuation is that Brady has been doing this for years.

Lesson learned. Do not excel or you will be rung up on a technicality. Sounds a lot like the tripe coming out of the White House these days.

Can someone please tell me what's the difference between Tom Brady deflated balls to gain a competitive advantage and enhanced his performance on the football field. Than someone using PHD's to gain a competitive advantage on the field. Tom Brady had a advantage didn't matter if he needed it or not he cheated on the field so he gets what he gets. Now u wonder why he is the best cold weather QB LMAO F!!!!!!!! CHEATER.

It's funny how all the Patriot fans vehemently defend Brady.
It is similar to black folk acquitting OJ of murder.
    Both were/are blinded by prejudice.

Personally, I don't have a strong opinion on the suspension, but something had to be done about this. The NFL can not just let players tweak the equipment to their liking.

Integrity of the game can not be compromised.

Really good post. Here is my take on deflategate.

The man conspired with two employees to have the footballs deflated in a way which suited him and gave him and his team a distinct advantage, especially since they play a lot of games in very poor conditions. Check the Pats fumble stats at home since McNally joined the team in 2007, ridiculously lower then the other teams. Brady knows the rules. What gets lost in this is that it could have been much worse. What if McNally and Jastremski were passing this information to bettors, especially McNally who was demanding cash and signed merchandise he could sell. He asked for specific items in his text to the go-between Jastremski prior to the AFC championship game with Indy and lo and behold, Brady handed him exactly what he asked for, the morning of the game. Brady lied and cheated. For anybody who is not convinced, read the report.

For those of you still clinging to the "3 out of 4 balls from the Colts were underinflated!" theory, let's review:

Two refs tested air pressure: Clete Blakeman, and Dyrol Prioleau.

    Pats balls (11 balls each-22 total)   11.11               11.49

    Colts balls (4 EACH-8 TOTAL)
I'm going to list each ball, just to make sure we all can see this....

    Ball 1                                                         12.70                 12.35
    Ball 2                                                         12.75                 12.30
    Ball 3                                                         12.50                 12.95
    Ball 4                                                         12.55                 12.15

    Average                                                     12.63                 12.44

As we can CLEARLY SEE, the Colts balls WERE SEVERELY UNDERINFLATED
What's interesting, to me, is that only one ref had BOTH the highest and lowest psi. Which air gauge do you think is more accurate?

The psi is supposed to be 12.5. Combined avg of Colts balls
    =12.535

For those of you keeping score at home, 12.535 IS NOT UNDERINFLATED

So, enough with the 3/4 Colts balls. There are 8 results, not just the 3 you want to focus on. The same air gauge that had 3/4 under, also had a 12.95 reading:practically a half-pound OVER. You figure out which gauge is more accurate.

Well said. NFL has 32 teams, it has to stand up for other 31 teams on this deflategate scandal against Tom Brady and Patriots.

    No. Brady is suspended for.

1 - Letting air out of the balls to create an unfair advantage

2 - Lying about his involvement

3 - Refusing to hand over phone and internet records. Thus interfering with investigation.

Ironically, if severing 4 games suspension stands, Tom Brady will play his 1st game at Colts on Sunday Night Football on Week 6. I read a guy said Brady will be pumped up and ready to unleash his frustration, well Colts might be ready for him.
