This is spot on and why I never, ever post dollar amounts.

I believe 3 things:

1) PTB is a good dude and a good capper
2) He really did wager the amount he posted
3) He got carried away with the HUGE plays from all the attention he got and that ultimately clouded his judgment in making a chase type bet on this game.

The guy feels bad enough as it is and certainly doesn't deserve all the shit in this thread. If you haven't taken one on the chin betting sports than i can say with all certainty that you are not a real sports bettor.

Well said.  And why is he getting bashed for saying "huge play?"  I can understand is he said "lock" but not simply for stating it is a bigger play than normal.

Amazing how many scumbags there are that enjoy when someone loses a big bet.

People who bet that in that range don't feel the need to come on these forums and tell everybody. Big bettors generally keep there bets to themselves.

But people with low self esteem, who need attention or want to feel important "the big shot" will tend to lie or exagerate. I am not saying that is the case here but I do believe that is the case more often than not
