Colts will win, but probably not by more than 10.5 points..I believe the best bet is colts first half. I wouldn't be suprise to see a moose showing up at the last 2 minutes in the 4 quarter.

I was reading this Expert Pick on a different site, that site said to avoid this game. Stick with the Over and Under for this one.
 
Remember, The Jags covered ATS over the Colts in Week 1. I think the Seahawks and Jags are moderate teams, not strong or weak.
 
I personally would have chosen Giants, Bengals or 49ers as a big bet play. BOL though, I can still be wrong.

Some good information in this thread and here is what I found out.  IND is 9 - 1 ATS off a road win by 21 pts.  SEA is 2 - 9 ATS away vs AFC.  I did not find any head to head series history.  On the other side IND is jsut 2 - 6 in the last 8 games as a home FAV.  IND has a big Monday night game at divisional rival TEN next week.  IND is 4 - 5 in the last 9 games as double digit FAV, 8 - 6 as non divisional home FAV.  SEA would be the bet if Haselbeck was the QB - SEA is 8 -14 as a road dog since 2004, 6 - 14 - 2 in the last 22 games as non divisional road dog.  The worst thing that has happend for IND is no Freeney, can IND keep up the pass rush?  I like IND - the points.  GL to all.

they are horrible ats in this situation.  It might be different if they were coming off a loss but I would not lay big money on Indy in this spot

  • Colts are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater.
  • Colts are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 14 points.
  • Colts are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

    Agreed, the only way Seattle has a chance to stay in this game is a heavy dose of Julius Jones, who'll probably have considerable success against this defense. That's going to eat up a lot of clock, making a double digit spread tough to cover....but good luck, it's a no play for me.

    betting big on a double digit favor is  a NO-NO!!!...while the colts will win this game str8t up.. i dont see them really getting up to play the seahawks. payton and crew will win by 10 , this is the nfl ...as we see it from time to time, double digit dogs has a reall good chance of a backdoor cover.

    PrimeTime, you know I dig ya, man.....BUT....I think Vegas has put way too much emphasis on the loss to Hasselback. I just think the guy has been flat out overrated for a long time, and he's horrible on the road. I may get flack for this, but I think Seneca Wallace gives Seattle a better chance of winning. He's a mobile QB that can still make decent throws. Normally I fade away on Seattle when they are on the road, but 10.5 is a HUGE number. I won't lie, as it's a no play for me since Seattle is on the road, but I like Wallace better than Hasselback here.
