So, once again, you're argument lacks any type of structure or substance. You're trying to discredit my point by pointing out 1 of the 40+ games. Brady was a game manager, and his stats weren't glorious during the SB wins. It's a fact, go look for yourself and do some actual research, and you'll see within 2 minutes that Brady's worst statistical seasons were 2001, 2003, 2004. Is this coincidence? Brady was expected to be nothing more than a game manager, and that's exactly what he was.
The fact is that no one wants to do the work, they want it done for them, and that's why they rely on ESPN to tell them what they need to know about sports. I can tell who actually does research and looks into this stuff. I'm passionate about sports, so I like doing it on my spare time.
If we measure by post season success, you do realize when he went to the playoffs without a top ranked defense he's not only won nothing, but he's looked pretty bad doing it.
The fact they make the playoffs every year is a gimme considering they have 3 of the worst teams in the last 10 years all in their division.
Please, every Brady lover neglects a key point/question I point out every time this comes up. Explain to me how MATT CASSEL, a QB who hadn't started a game since HIGH SCHOOL steps in off the bench out of nowhere, and finishes with a 11-5 record?
Why don't people understand what a system QB is. Look at Baylor for example. The greatest player to every dawn the QB position goes to the NFL, Florence steps in and their offense becomes statistically better. Florence leaves and Petty steps in, only to have the offense become statistically better again. We see this happen in college all the time, because the QB's don't have to be great, they need to be able to throw a basic pass and know when to get rid of the ball.
Check Down Tom is the best nickname I've ever heard someone give Brady. Mysticrichs' stats regarding his 20+ yard throws in the playoffs is a phenomenal one. I mean is there any QB in the history of the game that racked up more YAC than Brady? I honestly don't think so.
Brady reminds me of the guy playing Madden on Xbox who needs to constantly throw short slants because it's the only way they can beat you. Just disgraceful.
