All of this Brady love. Great QB! Who are your top 7 best current QBs?

This list is strictly based on last year, this year, and a little weight added to next year. Age and potential are not relevant. Please try your best to make your picks using the eye test and ignoring as much as possible the talent around them, for this poll lets assume every QB plays for a team like the bengals.

I chose 7 because I want to stir up some controversy with my 7th choice. I believe that real QB aficionados will agree at least somewhat with this list. Lets find out:

1. Rodgers, It would be pathetic of me to start with a tie for the number 1 spot but to be totally honest if I was trying to win a Super Bowl in 1 year I would have to flip a coin between A-Rod and Mr Manning. Rodgers is a top 3 QB inside and outside of the pocket which makes him overall the best in the game.

2. Manning. For my money the best QB to ever play the game, the reason Rodgers gets the nod in this list is his mobility, although manning is the most talented user of pocket space the game has ever seen. He is also the greatest defense dismantler of all time. Nobody can read and break down a defense better than this man. His 1 Super Bowl is a travesty. Should have had one last year and will likely earn one this year.

3. Drew Brees, Also excellent at breaking down defenses and anticipates and processes things more quickly than anyone not named above. Although numbers are to be largely ignored for this survey, his are impossible to completely ignore.

4. Tom Brady, easily could be number 3 on this list but I think the system he plays in has a larger roll in his success than the above, this is. It a knock. Nobody is better built to run hoody's system better than Brady. An accurate and smart player with exceptional leadership. Top 5 QB.

This is where the arguments will start and why this should be fun.

5. Andrew Luck, This guy has it all, he is young and he will get better but he is already in the top 25% of qbs in this league with his abikity to run, throw, and lead, He is big strong and smart. If you spare trying to win today I think Andrew Luck is a top 5 pick on the playground.

6. Matt Ryan, Matt Ryan is a winner. I actually debated leaving him off of this list but it just wouldn't be justifiable, I don't care how much talent you have around you, you still have to get them the ball, Matt Ryan does an awesome job of getting his playmakers the ball in places where they can do something with it.

7. Jay Cutler, Wanted to put him higher on the list actually. This guy is a complete stud, he makes throws that nobody but maybe Rodgers can make, he is actually very similar to Aaron Rodgers in so many ways. He makes awesome plays outside of the pocket and really any bad years or games he has had was because of the worst offensive line in the history of football. There is no question that as far as talent goes Cutty belongs on this list the question is how high would he be if he was on say....the texans.
