Pretends? A sports book is a merchant? What exactly did you buy from the sports book each time you made a transaction with your MC?

If were in charge of MC are you saying you would characterize cash deposits to a sports book as a purchase?

    Really?

Of course it is a cash advance. If you were in a sports book in Nevada (and didn't have cash and only had your MC) you would have to use your MC in an ATM to get cash for the same purpose. That would be considered a cash advance. You are not buying anything. You are getting cash to place wagers.

I am sure there was a time when a deposit to a sports book was charged as a purchase but that doesn't mean it should remain that way. They finally figured it out and ended that free ride.

You state you don't care about the $2.50 (and you appear to have a larger problem) yet you bring it up twice in the form of a complaint.

I got my ass kicked when Bet On Sports went tits up...nothing near 33k, but it was enough to hurt.....now I don't keep much money off-shore at all.

At the end of the day, they take it and they don't want to give it back.

Just a FYI with new money laundering laws banks don't like multiple big transactions.  Before it was over 10k would be automatically reported now anything over $5000 is being reported.

Also I hope you have a full time job if not that money is still taxable in Canada.

Finally my good news advice cibc visa but please take out 4k at a time nice and simple.

Right.  Don't be a dumbass just get the f outta that bank ASAP and never go back or answer any more questions.

It was stupid to answer them that way in the 1st place, cause those idiots have nothing better to do with their time.

This is Canada. Getting kicked out of a major bank is a big deal. That's one bank less that you can go to for future business loans and whatnot.

Also I hope you have a full time job if not that money is still taxable in Canada.

Finally my good news advice cibc visa but please take out 4k at a time nice and simple.

Even if it's a million dollars. It's legit. A $60 transaction for something illegal is more serious than multiple 5K transactions that are 100% legal and legit. I already gave the bank all the information they wanted. They asked, I answered truthfully. Maybe I should have made something up. They don't believe me when I tell the truth anyways.

Yes I have a job. I don't gamble for a living. I ran good that's all. But I gamble quite hardcore. I will gamble $500 at a time and when I run good in parlays or tournaments I will start betting in proportion to my new bankroll, sometimes as much as $5K a pop and even the smallest winning streak can mean life-changing money. $4K at a time means nothing to me. It would be a casual win/cashout.

I am not risking anything because what I currently own is not nearly enough for me to live the lifestyle I want to live (own a house, travel the world, bang hot girls, provide my future kids with top notch education, own a yatch, own a business that generates perpetual income, etc). If you tell me right now that I will never have a million dollars worth of equity, I might as well be dead. In fact, if I don't have it by the time I'm 35, it still would be pretty shitty to be 35+ and just be an average joe. Hot girls do not want to talk to 30+ guys unless they're ballers.

What is it with you.  We're not talking about getting kicked out of the bank.

Take your $ and go elsewhere and don't talk to them.  I guarantee you 99% of the population will have figured this out in your situation by now.

How you gonna have a country of over 300 million people, but say you can only place Sportsbets in 1 damn state?  What kind of shit is that?

That's why these sportsbooks won't stop, the government can't tell you where you can and can't spend your money.  Nevada ain't the only show in town, and no matter what the U.S. gov says, people will always find ways to gamble and that's lose their money, and get paid when they win.

Sports gambling is a $200billion a year industry! But the worst is, it is 100% legal in Canada, it is mentioned in the MacterCard user agreement (how MasterCard is going to FALSELY PRETEND it's a "Cash Advance" to make money off of it) and yet that bank2 still don't want to have such a customer.

Banks breach contracts and go beyond the law all the time. The are bigger criminals than frauds, mafias and terrorists.
