Smart man going RB early often , been a winning strategy since day 1 of fantasy football ( mid 80's for me personally ) ...In today's pass pass pass happy NFL Top fantasy Backs are likely thinner than ever ....Much easier to stock decent later round WR than start worthy backs...

As you mention so many quality QBS ( Great grab wirh Russ that year) ...I'd be Fine wirh waiting 

Agree I'd be more than happy with Cousins as my starting QB1 if 8-9+ RB/WR/FLEX came before him...That VIKINGS offense should be much more explosive this season ..

I'll let you know if any spots open up in the higher stakes league  .. is much higher stakes than my now other 3 , Unique where there is a only a $200 entry fee , but a mandatory weekly $100 fee , where half goes to weekly high scorer pool $600 , and the other half goes to heads up winner of your weekly matchup ( $100) ...Weekly game vs scheduled  foe can be agreed upon up to $500 ( rarely is ) .....I skipped this league since covid but now back in ..Another spot might open , but it's full right now ( let ya know if you're interested)....$200 entry fee , winner takes all

Agree ...Titans are in trouble...Colts are my favorite division winner prop at the current prices ....Never like Tannehill , think he will really be up against it this season ...3600 will be a tough get for him 

Etienne could have a big season , easily the top Jag on the draft board ( obviously) 

RUNNINGBACKS  ( FANTASY FOOTBALL ) 

RULE 1.   Draft them early and often ...Using 2 of your first 3 picks on backs is a great idea...The position is thinner than ever in today's style of play ... Wouldn't be shocked if 10 of the first 12 picks are RB's .....

RULE. 2.   FREE AGENCY is crucial in winning a fantasy league ...While you might not need a RB after drafting some good ones , screwing over other owners from possibly getting a diamond in the rough is extremely important ....Every year I see teams that are loaded at WR , but have fatal flaws at the 2+ RB spots ...

Tips

#1.    Depending on the league , drafting RBS 3 of your first 4 picks can give you tons of trade bait , especially if you luck out with a decent RB pick(s) later in the draft ....

#2.   Don't trade away any backs too early in the season ...Other owners will get more desperate when the injuries hit ....

#3.   Nothing wrong with stockpiling 5-7+  backs , could force other owners to start players that should clearly be benched or Free agents .

plus these guys get hurt all the time. Never enough. But you should consider a stud WR for 2nd pick if they’re there ( top 4)

What do you think of the Saints overall this year? SLEEPER.. Kamara might delay trial.. hmmm

Patterson often was the key piece to championship teams last season ..Had to be FA pickup of the year.....Believe we talked about this in season LY ...

I do like the Saints to be a sleeper team ....Concerns are if Winston and Thomas can stay healthy and the Kamara legal thing as you mention....Landry and Olave should be big upgrades.    So sick of Tom Brady !!!

1. Allen.     3.   Probably the only Qb I'd select before round 8 ...Plenty of quality without much drop off from QBS ranked 4-14 ..3 of the 4 drafts I'm in are loaded with at least 60% BILLS homers..Wouldn't be a suprise if he went in the first round ..

2.  Mahomes 4.   Just amazing watching the touch he has on the ball..Even during a meaningless preseason game ..Highly doubt either Mahomes or Herbert last until the 4th round but I'd strongly consider taking them if they did ..

3. Herbert  4.     Was hoping for better odds that he'd finish with the last most passing yards...Like Mahomesbi don't think he'll be there in the 4th ...

Extremely doubtful I take any of the qbs ranked 4-8 below ..Strongly believe there are much more valuable players to draft at RB/WR/TE during rounds 5-8...The QBS ranked 9-14 could outperform those ranked 4-8....

This is where the real value should began ..I'll be trying to hold off on QBS until at least the 8th round if not longer ..

9.  Brady 8-9.   I have a bad gut feeling Brady might be heading for a very rough season ..This could be the worst O line he has played behind in a very long time...Knowing the WWE/NFL they're likely to allow massive holding to keep their cash cow Tommy up right...

10. Rodgers  8-9.   Another player that might regress at this stage of his career...I do like the Packers O line much better than the Buccs , but the loss of Adams should be massive ...

11.  CARR. 9-10.  I'd be more than happy if Carr was my QB1 entering the season..It would mean the roster would be 8-9 deep at RB/WR/TE ...

12.  COUSINS. 9-10. Vikings offense might explode this season ..Just like Carr I'd be more than happy with Cousins as my QB1 ..

13.  R WILSON  9-10.  Clearly he will go much earlier than this , and I'm fine with that...

14.  STAFFORD. 10.   Again solid value this late ...

Could be a major drop off at this point , but a few of the following players could Crack the top 10 if everything goes right ..

15  Lance. 10-11   He'll be long gone by this point...Probably finish better than I expect , but so be it ..

16.  Tua.  11.     Weird feeling Teddy check down will see some starts sooner or later ...

17.  D JONES. 11-12    If you're looking for a deep later sleeper here he is ..Daboll should be throwing a ton ...Not sure Danny dimes holds up behind this suspect line though 

18 ;Winston. 12.  Massive upgrade at WR from what he had last year...If he can stay healthy look out ..

19.  RYAN. 12.   Night and day better O line...

20   GOFF.  12-13;   Everyone is falling in love with the Lions this year...Goff should have a major chip on his shoulder, some nice weapons too 

21. M Jones 12-13.  Unfortunately I work with 3 transplants from Massachusetts/Connecticut,  they think Mac is the 2nd coming of Tom ( get to hear about it everyday )  ...Tom could make any WR look great , let's see what Mac does with Nelson Agholer as a #1 ..Thought Jones got exposed for being a noodle arm who could only throw over the middle down the stretch 

22. FIELDS.  DO NOT DRAFT... Go ahead and prove me wrong ...He might get decapitated this season ..

Wouldn't be overly concerned if any of the following 4 are my backup ..

Friermuth is my highest owned TE at around 16%. His underdog adp is 138 which is way too high and until it comes down to 120 or less ill keep taking him.

Looks like a super steal at the current at ADP ...Wouldn't be suprised if finished rhe season in the top 4 TE....Could see Pat being selected 4-5 round next year
