Bulls are our only hope to beat heat in the eastern conference. What a joke this pacers team trend out to be.

I get there are bad spots to pick a team, but being down 27 points in the first 3 mins of 2nd quarter isn't that. There is a huge prob in Indy what happened to this teams identity? Defense creates offense, and team play? It's non existent now, it's like these guys all started buying their own hype.

I think the problem is that the players are burnt out. They played at a championship level in the 1st of the season and simply have run out of gas physically and mentally.

Interesting point rod, but the bulls play to that level as well and they've just gotten better as time has passed. The grainger point and Bynum points are interesting.

I guess they don't want #1 seed to avoid the hawks in first round they are tanking at the wrong time.

You're giving Granger too much credit. He has barely played in the past 2 seasons and he isn't Professor X to the xmen either.

I just can't understand why a team this team has difficulty scoring.

I actually thought the pacers could win it all this year.  They were killing teams, then it all changed.
Going into todays game they lost the last 8 ats and are 3-19 last 22 ATS
I cant recall in all my years gambling, ever seeing a team that had the best record in the NBA go so bad.

In todays game, with 5 minutes left in the second quarter, the pacers had 10 points.  They finished the quarter with 12.  Millionaire players can only muster up 2 points in 5 minutes.

Everytime the pacers play, i kept telling myself to just keep fading them, but i chicken out figuring that day might be the day they turn it around.  What a huge mistake, because they just keep losing.
Really surprised the oddsmakers havent adjusted this team more

rod-steel is right, pacers completely burned themselves out playing balls-2-the wall in the early months to seal that #1 seed....not used to playing at that level for so long....whereas the bulls play all out all the time so are used to it and conditioned to it by thibodeau.....maybe they can recover for playoffs, maybe not.dont look good at all for them rite now...
in that thread called "thread by a pacers local"(sorry, cant remember the guys name that writes it),theres some real interesting stuff about paul george and wat his struggles are linked to,seems it goes pretty deep and off-court issues bogging him down......obviously he is critical to this teams chhances to do anything at all..they simply cannot go without his scoring and ability to get his own shot without help
