Okay. Serious question.. will the celtics be better off if Garnett wasn't on the court?

Just got back from the Palms for halftime going to watch the rest of the game here at the Rio - had to post this to make sure everyone knows the rules.

He has 2 flagrants so far - one more gets him the suspension.

However I'm sure the head office will be looking at this the rest of the night and see if that elbow was to the face - if it was they will call it a flagrant 2 foul and Garnett will miss next game.

Hope this helps clear things up.

Possibly - they proved they can win without him.  He may be the one main culprits inhibiting this team right now with his attitude and demeanor.

wow, how soon some forget. Remember Kobe elbowing Artest in the playoffs last year, which caused Artest to almost choke the shit out of him? How about what he did to Raja Bell 3 years ago in the playoffs? Big fan of Kobe, but he's a dirty player too. He just knows how to get away with it.

And i dont think KG gets suspened for game 2. What he did (swinging his elbows) happens all the time. Q's face just happen to be in the way.

Wouldnt surprise me to see him get suspended, but its not deserved. Its the playoffs people.

Let's not fret about it in this thread right now.

The Front Office is talking about it as we speak.

Probably by the time this game goes off they will have either already fined him or put a suspension in place.  The only problem is, is that with Garnett's recent behavior - league officials will probably be more likely to serve him with the game suspension as described

It doesn't clear anything up and if I were in Vegas the LAST thing I would be doing is looking up the NBA rulebook to post on an internet message board.

They could also fine and slap him with a game suspension.  He's losing serious credibility with the officials at this point. 

He USED to be a top name player - so I think it would be interesting what the outcome will be.

We all know it was Sheed that threw the elbow he would be suspended no doubt

I think it's pretty damn important.  We all have different things we value.  I value information.

garnett didn't leave the bench he was in the game funny how people just kinda change the rules and bend situations to fit their argument we'll see tho then the argument will be moot.  I agree with you the Front Office is deliberating as we speak and analyzing how much money they will lose if they suspend Garnett ratings wise.

he didn't punch him in the face intentionally are you implying everytime their is contact to the face the player should be suspended? he wasn't even squared up with him.  Leaving the bench is black or white you either do or you don't hitting someone in the face has many factors to consider so your making my point with your ignorance.

Garnett is definately suspended, the only one who dont think so is this boston homer that is being 100% unrealistic, 1 MAYBE 2 games...
