-4.5/-5 could be a blood bath for Milwaukee backers,

Odds makers are not that dumb.. that will draw a lot of Hawks money and cover 

Whats the line you would put out? Hawks +7 at home good?

Hawks have been great , I can see them winning easy. Bucks on the road aren't that good.

 I based it on game 2 34 point blow out.

IMO line just right. 3 points for home advantage. So -3 from the original 7.5/8-point line is 4.5/5

This is NOT the way to handicap games. Not saying I don't understand your thinking, or that Bucks won't win, but when you gamble long enough you will throw recency bias out the window and realize just how smart the odds makers are. 

You know why

Another fun stat (that don't apply to this game since they're dogs) Atlanta at home as a favorite is nearly unbeatable this season.

But books can make any line they want if theyre all in agreement. So they could have made Atlanta -1 and boom Atlanta would be the play so that's why they don't like to give away the winner by the line
