I bet NBA every day, but don't watch much of it. It has nothing to do with politics, racism, (etc.). Few teams make a legitimate effort on the defensive end. Watch film of games from 20 years ago and tell me the game is better today. Too much one on one play. My opinion aside, the NBA is doing very well in the U.S. and around the world.

I watch the playoffs and that's it.
As with today every once in a while i will glimpse at a game and remember why I don't watch it.

In the playoffs they can strategize over time and you know they'll show up. That's when I will care
Notice how it ALL comes from the same suspects, google commercials somehow now care about black humans.. it's brilliant, because it's worked on so many imbeciles, at least half the nation has bought into their own "oppression" and victimhood.. and manipulated everyone into allowing the very people that have enslaved Americans for decades right back into power. I think there are some cool players in the current show that kids look up to and enamor/emulate. Jayson Tatum, Jamal Murray, Luka, Trey Young, and Tyler Herro are examples. And as much as I want to blame the usual suspects (Lebron, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, etc) for hogging the limelight, the NBA has a history of repetitive winners. As much as I'm tired of seeing Lebron always in the finals, I was just as tired of seeing magic or bird in the finals every other year....or jordan in the finals every year.....or Shaq/Kobe, or Tim Duncan, or Curry and GSW. So that's not the reason I dont watch as much either.....
The reason I dont watch is just as DigitalKarma eluded to -- the game itself is just boring. Literally can't get more than 60 seconds of real-time gameplay because of foul calls. Gameplay constantly stopped for fouls, booth reviews, media timeouts. They literally booth reviewed a hip check for over 4 mins. Richard Jefferson was spot on, they need to review their foul protocols and dial it back. Flagrants are called for accidental in the moment elbows grabbing a rebound. Who knows wtf is a block vs a charge anymore. In basketball it's either a 3ball or a foul shot.....like in baseball a Ko or a homerun.
For me personally, the incessant stoppage of gameplay is what tunes me out in 2020 vs staying up past 1am to watch Garnett vs Kobe in 2008.
Reasons why i barely watch anymore: It is beyond scripted and very obvious, i am not entertained, most teams are boring af to watch, i already know who is gonna win it all before the season starts most of the time, it is the same garbage every game, you never watch a game and see something you have never seen before like you do in other sports... The NBA knows it is boring and that is why they are trying new things to keep people interested, GS changed the League with shooting the 3, you also have way more players taking logo 3's... Apparently fans love when a player shoots a long 3 or shoots lots of 3's as a team... The game is just beyond bland in its current state... The politics are the last thing on my last, i dont even notice them...
Agree 100 percent, was born in the 70s never seen so many players switch teams every year to pick their own teammates. Don't know how anybody can have a favorite team when players can't stick to a team for more than 2 years . Nba is a joke only reason I watch it is for gambling action
