I've heard way too much nonsense to sit back and not say anything. Instead of appreciating the talent that you're privileged to see, you believe that the outcome was predetermined. Right, because it's Vegas who decided Wade should have a break out game tonight? And it was Vegas who allowed Danny Green to make all those insane 3's? Parker didn't make that shot... Vegas did! Duncan wants a 5th ring... but wait, does Vegas want Duncan to get a 5th ring? Your stupidity is of the highest order if you believe any of this. Do you not think over the half century that NBA has been relevant, it would not have come to the surface that games were rigged? That someone would not have come out and said something? If Tim Donaghy is your example of rigged outcomes, then you are a moron. That was an outlier, not the mean. With the amount of money the NBA generates, do you think it would be hard for the league to investigate or track the referees? And if you think it is the league who is conspiring to make series go longer so they can make more money, please explain to me why there have only been two game 7's in the past decade of NBA finals? Why haven't LeBron and Kobe squared off in the finals? Why did the hole that is Cleveland get the no.1 draft pick AGAIN? If you think these champions are crowned based on "what the league wants" or "what will give sports-books bigger profits" then you can GO FU CK YOURSELF you useless maggots!!

very true but it all has to do what is best to revenue the NBA.. all those points you picked out has really nothing to do with an outcome. refs can change the game any time they want even if its a couple things... you do realize its VERY hard to pick out stuff when it does happen. and most people on covers will bring up BS and stupid sh* t that didnt matter and say it did matter

in conclusion i have to admit there has been nothing wrong with these finals... 2 blowout wins and the others hard faught games with having the best team come out on top

The fix statements are usally spewed by those losing money, and lots of it. You never hear a winning player talk about fixes.Vegas and the world of sports are not fixing games  ,And why would they The  money that is being wagered on is to lucrative to blow it on some fixing scandal ,It wouldn't be worth it..It would be imposible that after all these years with thousands of people involved that everyone is quite about it. for one. For a fix to be as wide spread as some think, even collage players trainers coaches ,would be   involved .Universities Team presidents, GMs , TV networks,,the list goes on .If sports was fixed don't you think you would have more popular teams in every world series NBA ,NHL NFL,final? Trust me if that was true the SPURS would never see a playoff game with that market share they have.  What happened in NBA with the refs was a individual thing with someone tring to change the outcome of a game,by favoring a player or calling more fouls,in a attempt to alter the game, but that doesn't mean that everyone was in on it..You would  hear the same thing  in poker  when someone gets a bad beat playing online a few years back. Why because they lost money, did you ever hear a poker player hit a miracle card on the river to give him a Sraight flush, over someone who already had Quads say  "I won that hand wow ,this game must be fixed".Never taking in to consideration that thousand of hands were being played per hour,so things like that are bound to happen. With so much money being generated why would they risk everything ,everyday ,to get caught and be shut down .THe FIX isn't IN  ,they would all make less money if it was true PERIOD. The funny part of all this are the ones who truly believe Sports betting is rigged but keep on betting ,and betting and losing and losing

Another Idiot, Dear lord where do you morons come from?
and Please find your way back there.

Those of us who believe in the fix you complete and utter imbecile of a man have given plenty of props towards THE FIX when we win as well.

If you know anything about those of us who claim its fixed, You would comprehend our mindset and not come up with the ridiculously stupid post above.

    Here is the deal dummy
We (those of us who believe its fixed) do not get upset if we lose because
WE WERE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FIX

We (those of us who believe its fixed) Do not get overly excited when we win
    Because
WE WERE JUST ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FIX.

We are not blithering idiots such as yourself making things up as we go along.
We have given dummys like you plenty of proof over the years from
www.thefixisin.net to Daniel E. Moldea and his book INTERFERENCE how Organized crime influences pro football to Tim Donaghy to rouge Big Ten Referree Stephen Pamon to the untimely death of investigative PBS FRONTLINE reporter Jessica Savage she was warned not to do a Frontline special on the NFL and the MOB, her car was found in a ditch, Years later Serial Killer and contract hitman for the mob Richard "Iceman" Kuklinski said he was contracted to kill a female reporter and make it look like an accident, he sprayed her food with Cyanide it kicked in while she was driving and landed in a ditch.

So when you and other know nothing idiots like you spew your bullsh*t
You better come prepared to give solid reasoning and prove what I wrote above wrong, Otherwise keep your pathetic opinion to yourself.

This should not become a 'them vs us'. I hate division in these situations because it just makes the opposers views even more stronger to them just from anger and nobody wins. Let's just agree to disagree because i'm pretty certain we are unable to alter each others views about this.

Let me just add though, nobody who's watched the game for 20+ yrs or a long seasoned bettor can honestly say that they believe the NBA is 100% legit. I've been watching the NBA since 1986 and my eyes don't lie. I'm also hitting 75% in these finals - plays all based on the 'rigged' angle using officiating assignment etc. i do this all throughout the season too. I also incorporate what Donaghy states in his book about refs etc. to my capping process.

I could not disagree more with you. Your view is so shortsighted on this subject. If there is an agenda that would significantly benefit someone believe me it will go through, and not everyone needs to be involved. Its just the way it is in life, its our human nature.

It's far too easy to say the games are fixed, If you people actually believe that these games are fixed, To what extent are they fixed? How are they fixed? Who fixes them? Just because you have made a few bucks by fading a square bet doesn't all of a sudden make you a wise guy or a sharp who knows what games are fixed. Like I said if the games are fixed, Give us current examples and evidence as to how they're fixed, The Tim Donaghy incident was a long time ago so who's the current mob fixing them?

Firstly to answer your question, no I have not forgotten about Tim Donaghy - I mentioned him in my original post (you moron).

Secondly, I am completely open to the idea of rigged totals (over/unders) and even some insignificant matches being fixed or "influenced". However, my post was specifically relating to the result of playoff series and eventual NBA champions.

Do I believe a game between Washington and Cleveland in the final week of the regular season could be rigged? Sure - who gives a fu**ck?

Do I believe the NBA champions, and the length of the series, will be determined by some mobsters? Not in the slightest.

Also I took one look at your www.thefixisin.net website... HAHA, looks like it was made by some 12 year old website designer. and there are also pages with "facts" about how 911 was planned by Americans and the moon mission was faked. I've also heard that mermaids are real and aliens once visited our planets with quite compelling evidence. All very interesting

    Take care my friend

Mafioso     Are you talking about Jessica Savitch? Her death had nothing to do with the mob...

On October 23, 1983, Savitch had dinner with Martin Fischbein, vice-president of the New York Post, in New Hope, Pennsylvania. After the meal at Odette's Restaurant, they began to drive home about 7:15 pm, with Fischbein behind the wheel and Savitch in the back seat with her dog, Chewy. Fischbein may have missed posted warning signs in a heavy rainfall, and he drove out of the wrong exit from the restaurant and up the towpath of the old Pennsylvania Canal's Delaware Division on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. The car veered too far to the left and went over the edge into the shallow water of the canal. After falling approximately 15 feet and landing upside down, the station wagon sank into deep mud that sealed the doors shut. Savitch and Fischbein were trapped inside as water poured in. A local resident found the wreck at about 11:30 that night. Fischbein's body was still strapped behind the wheel, with Savitch and her dog in the rear. After the autopsies, the Bucks County coroner ruled that both had died from asphyxiation by drowning. He noted that Fischbein was apparently knocked unconscious in the wreck but Savitch had struggled to escape. There was no finding that drugs or alcohol had played any part in the crash.

I agree mostly with you, youngbuckman.  Games are influenced, but not necessarily fixed.  The influence does come from the top, however, and the NBA in particular has shown that they don't care about corruption, only generating revenue.
