Its all given. LeBron shrinks in the 4th, he doesn't want to take over on close games. We all know about that for many years yet people still emphasize it. LeBron's game shines when its a blowout game.

The problem with this is that haters still hate the same thing, LeBron fans are blinded that LeBron is great, etc. etc. but same goes for HATERS, They hate LeBron even if he has an outstanding game, even if he performed surprisingly in the 4th, they will still hate him. To put simply, both sides have blindfolds.

Durant out-shined LeBron tAonight but that doesn't mean that he is the REAL MVP.

1 Game doesn't decide it, let alone 7 games. MVP is for the regular season and clearly I do not know what do you want to point out in creating this thread.

okc is more clutch late in the game than miami. okc seems to thrive in the 2nd half during this playoffs. durant is just a crazy ass shooter you can never leave, while lebron is streaky. bron bron should just keep driving..im sure fouls will get called for him.

What baffles my mind is that in the 4th quarter LBjames was not guarding Durant LBJ is a first team all defensive player he has got to guard Durantula every minute of every 4th quarter in this series. LBJ should demand to spoeklstra that he guard Durantula. Is Lebron afraid to guard Durantula? in the 4th

this is the absolute truth!  Westbrook dominated this game, and the stat sheet reflects it... Durant was phenomenal, and hit every open shot, and attacked the basket, but Westbrook facilitated everything... Durant will probably win the MVP if OKC goes on to win the title, but if the other games follow this pattern, it's Westbrook who really deserves it in this matchup... Miami has nobody who can match up with Westbrook, and when you watch the games, it's clear as day!

great observation... those who don't see it, just don't have an eye for hoops...

this is the absolute truth!

Everyone in this thread needs to relax - series is not over yet.... If miami wins game 2, they get the road split they were looking for and everything gets flipped

I'll look at stats today, but the Heat supporting cast fizzled out in the 2nd H. And Harden had 5 points? Durant and Westbrook carried this team tonight. Heat supporting cast did great 1st H, but you gotta play a full game, I know OKC will.

OKC is a much better organization than Miami. Miami fans and backers believe everything the media tells them. OKC 2012 Champs. Period.

You are correct......in the NFL....you can have a regular season MVP and a Superbowl MVP

In MLB you can have a regular season MVP and a World Series MVP

But in basketball...not lets just say LBJ.....he has to be everything....regular season...all star....and finals MVP to be the best

Maybe when KD gets it done.....the hater stalking can stop against LBJ

OKC clearly has more depth and can put more combinations (i.e., adjustments) on the court and in the game.

If that makes you a better team....then yes, OKC clearly has the better team.

The difference in 2nites game was wen it mattered most durant had 15 meaningful points and lbj 2 meaningful poitns i 4thn

ESPN is showing that LBJ had 23 points through the 1st 3 quarters then 7 points in the 4th

    Last time I checked 23 / 3 is around 7 points a quarter

and he scored 7 points in the 4th qtr

Scoring 17 points in the 4th by KD is outstanding

LBJ scoring 7 pts in the 4th is not a failure

NBA average for 4th qtr scoring for a player is actually around 8 to 10 pts tops

Noone goes off consistently and scores double digits in 4th qtr scoring

Point is....give KD credit for having a GREAT GAME...and for closing in the 4th......but it is unusual for a player to score 17 pts in the 4th qtr

    Great point.

    LBJ is regular season MVP

    D Wade is miami's closer....not LBJ

LBJ haters (who latch on to anything) will make the leap that KD is better than LBJ

I hope that when OKC wins the title, the hater stalkin on LBJ will stop....since KD is now conclusively the best player and OKC clearly will be the best team in the NBA for some time now

Kome will not sniff another ring...with KD, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka playing for OKC

Maybe the media will now follow...KD...the real MVP and the best player in the league and stop "stalking" LBJ

I think it's kinda funny how people will say OKC has Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, Harden... and Miami only has James, Wade and Bosh. Well those three sat out in Miami's arena and predicted multiple championships without any of their teammates what does that say...All we need is us three and we can win.

Lebron needs more help, I mean he is only playing with 3 all-stars. That's only 60% of the team on the floor is all-stars, clearly not enough. They will pick up 2 more all-stars and claim they will then win 10 rings.

What durant did in the 4th last night is not unusual for him, he has done it atleast 4-5 times this post-season alone

Always said whoever came out of the west would win it ........okc is better for sure .....they will win the next game and atleast 1 in miami......lebeon will get his but durant will get more ......all the heat backers that posted at halftime saying the game was over are fucking idiots and deserved to lose money. Took okc to win the series and durant for mvp.

Durant isn't half the player LeBron. Do you know anything about basketball? LeBron defends much better, handles twice as well, rebounds three times as well, and passes TEN TIMES as well.

Also weird that they had the same assists and rebounds....

If lebron had to covet durant he would have nothing left for offense....

Durant had only 2 fouls on lebron, while pierce fouled out every rip....
