Like this point. Am leaning Clippers, but the line is messing with my head lol. Just trying to play devil's advocate here. In the past week, I've seen a few noticeable games with a line of -2.
Last week, it was OKC/Utah with many thinking Utah could hang with OKC. Ultimately, they lost 101-87. The oddsmakers proceeded to make then 13 point underdogs in OKC, an 11 point swing. OKC easily covered.
A couple days ago, Miami played Indiana, blew them out easy.
On the other side of the line, just yesterday, this same Indiana team went into Cleveland as 2 point favorites and they were blown out.
Just some observations I made. It looks like when there is a clear talent advantagae, this line serves nothing more than to attempt to create equal sides. It doesn't seem to be working in this case, which is a little unnerving.
I remember those as I had Utah against OKC in Utah, then took OKC -12 at home. That was an unexplainable swing.
gl with your plays.

Hey TAGO, I always see u around Si1ly's threads...just noticed you got your own investment-grade schtick going...and
can you give me an idea of how much your units typically vary (what's the min and what's the max we're likely to see)...and what % of the plays roughly are the "regular" 2units you mentioned above and what % of the plays (roughly) would be max-units...
thanks

Usually I'm around 2-4 units on daily plays. I never paid attention to what the percentage of plays are. If I had to guess, I'd say 2-4 unit plays are 75% of my plays, 1 unit is 23%, 5/6 unit plays are 2%. I wanna say I only did a 6 unit play twice this season.
1 unit - Are coin flip games that I typically want action on or it could be a weekend game. Then it usually means I'm right about even and I don't want to end up losing much. For instance this past Sunday Toronto/Laker game, it should've been a 2-3 unit play for me, but I was up a little for the week so I just went 1 unit.
2 unit - I like it enough to invest a decent amount. Sometimes there will be 5 games that I like a lot, but I don't want to take them all for 4 units, so I'll do 2 units across.
3 unit - I like it a lot, but something is holding me back from going big, which would be 4 units
4 unit - I'm real confident.
5/6 unit - My heart is pounding and I can't stay still, excited.
