I think it's best if I keep a seperate record for the 1st and 2nd half of the season.

Revenge game for blazers and a long losing streak ATS going 0-6 in the last 6 games. NBA.com also has an article bout orl using smaller lineups going forward, i think that's a perfect matchup for por when they use harkless at the 4 and nurkic/leonard to guard vucevic. Long overdue win ATS for por, taking the favorites here.

Covers' expert had a nice stat: det is 2-14 ATS with five or more days of rest. Have no idea since what year but that's a pretty good percentage to fade. Also this year cha is 2-0 SU and ATS with 3 days of rest, also don't know for 4 days and above. But i think they'll be ready here considering they've been on a major slump before the break.

Remember, hou lost their last game which was at home. Covers has another nice stat: rockets are 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS off a loss and if they shot less than 45% from the floor. I like those odds. Also i think nop needs a little more time to gel. Besides, can mardi brahs defend the whole 3pt line?

Cle barely shows signs of hangovers from long rest days/weekends. I'm thinking they're gonna wanna start the 2nd half strong and fresh. Cle has also won ATS all 3 meetings this season. Looking for the sweep here

When i saw this line, i automatically thought it was way too much. Vegas might be undervaluing the kings without demarcus. Remember, they beat bos SU without cuz. Most probably gonna be a close game.

I've been saying this for too many times: lac's gonna bring it. And they never do and i always end up wasting my money on them vs GS. Sure CP3's back but he hasn't played in months and he still has rust to shake off. Don't think he can keep up with curry then blake's gonna do stupid shiit like he always does.

Might be my biggest play for tonight. Indiana is in a looong slump, but good thing that was before the ASB. I see them going hard here trying to start the 2nd half strong AND get rid of this losing streak. Not to mention they hit the road for 5 games after this, I think they'll win in a nailbiter. Plus public has been slamming this line, this might be the upset of the night.

Another long streak to bet against: philly has covered 10 straight games at home, longer than washington's and miami's home covers during their respective runs. Philly has traded away ersan and noel over the long weekend and washington adds bogdanovic to their thin bench. Those are very opposite directions for the teams as it's also unlikely philly plays bogut. They're very thin right now and i feel washington gets it done here

Toronto has added quite the defensive pieces to their roster. They haven't covered in their last 4 games, but hopefully tucker and ibaka will play tomorrow cause i think they fit in nicely. Bebe and tucker off the bench will provide some problems for boston's bench. Just gonna splash a little on tor here

Mil was playing way over their heads in their last 3. 3 points too little, gobert and hayward keep monroe and middleton in check since they've been on fire.

Lal will begin their free fall here @okc. They traded away lou will, their leading scorer. While okc has bolstered their bench by adding general taj and mcbuckets. Also kanter could finally come back in this game. Okc has all the tools right now to dismantle lakers, win by DD.

2 days ago, i was predicting either cousins and his new team would win big or sac would win big and it happened to be sac. I won't get fooled by that 16 pt cruising of denver. Cha in need of a win here, losing 5 straight for the 3rd time this season. Sac has also won and covered 4 straight at home, tying their season highest (ATS) and i think it ends there again. Cha actually had nice leads on the road @tor then @det but couldn't hold on in the 4th. Sac is pretty decent in the 4th BUT that was with cousins. Hornets get it done here.

Atl-3@Orl

Atl is pretty good on b2b going 8-3 SU and ATS. Not to mention a fresh shroder who served his suspension last game. Atl should win this game to win the season series and they should be motivated to get their first win of the 2nd half.

Chi+11@Cle

Cle coming in hot in this one, winning and covering 8 in their last 9 games (it's been 5 straight SU and ATS at home). Chicago has won all meetings so far and cleveland will definitely be looking for revenge. But these 2 teams have always played tough with each other. As long as jimmy and dwade are there, they have a good chance to keep this thing close. But unfortunately for me, my bets have to go in early. So i'm banking (small wager) on them to show up

Factor of the game: rebounding. Dallas is dead last in the league with rebounding and they have 2 of the top 9 rebounders coming to town. Pelicans clearly need a lot of work and dallas is in their own little slump so the pels couldn't have been in a better spot. Jrue was terrible last game so i expect him to do a lot better running the point.

Houston is a force to be reckoned with. That bench is just filthy with the addition of lou will. The problem with facing a team that shoots a lot of 3s is that you'll want to jack up your own 3s and minny is 2nd to the last in the league in 3s made per game. Hou had also lost their last home game and i'm sure they're gonna want to get that back. Saturday night, i expect a full house with the new and improved roster, crowd will be into it. Good thing they're vs a team that's on a b2b

Memphis has lost 2 straight games. The last time that happened was back in mid january and they ended up beating sac by 16pts after that. They also haven't lost more than 2 straight since dec 16-20. Memphis had a lackluster game in indiana to open their 2nd half of the season. I think marc gasol can contain the joker and their bench is pretty strong that can handle denver's. I expect memphis to bounch back nicely here

My bookie has utah at +2 while everywhere else is at +2.5 or even 3. I think they're trying to attract some washington backers and probably believe utah will cover or possibly win. Also could be a look ahead for was with gs next up. They just wanna go on and face the top team. Gamble pick here, tail at your own risk

Reggie didn't play so well last game and lost lots of minutes to ish smith. He could use this game as motivation going up against one of the best PGs ATM. Bradley could be back tomorrow but i think that'll do more harm than good. Also i didn't feel so right trying to do a write up for bos so i'm going the other way. I also think det is still hurt by that game winner back in november.

Portland is still ailing and they showed it in the 1st 3 quarters against orlando. Tor came up big vs boston the other day and i think this team gels very nicely. Time for them to make up for all those lost games earlier this year

Clippers were rolling right before the ASB and now they've lost 2 straight games (although a little forgivable since it was against 2 of the best in the west). Cha is on a b2b and they are truly terrible w/o zeller. No interior d, DJ and blake will eat them up. Clippers are at full force now and i believe this game will be a blowout.

Lots of strange lines by my bookie and his banker today, and they usually aren't like this...
