You said, you want the warriors to lose, your gonna have to FIND a way to stop them from performing at an elite level.Seems like some officials have FOUND a way to stop elite teams, crappy teams, and all other teams, its called making bad calls against a certain team,if you don't want that team to do well.Everyone seems to forget about that NBA referee that was fixing games, not to far in the distant past.People used to say the same thing about fixing games back then,"It could never happen in todays league, teams just happen to do bad in certain games, crucial foul calls just coincidently ALWAYS get called against the team that is the public favorite.Until the FBI started bugging some criminals phones, and accidently found out about an referee fixing games, the NBA was "supposedly" completely blind about any of it.So don't be to sure it couldn't happen again,or should I say, hasnt been happening ever since.

See I was betting NBA games during that time frame, and sometimes things and calls did seem a little fishy, but I was one of the people, like some of you are now."Sports could never be fixed in this day and age,ya you get a couple bad judges decisions in boxing every now and then, but professional sports could never be fixed. Then BAM it comes out that this referee was throwing games,so don't try and sit here and tell me,it can never happen again.

Actually if I remember correctly the FBI never found any proof that Donaghy ever fixed even one game. He was able to make his picks based off of pre game information alone such as which players would get calls from a particular crew and which refs had relationships with which coaches. There was in fact a time when he had a pick on the spurs and ejected popovich during the game which resulted in the spurs not covering the spread. The point is there's information and angles out there that effect the games way more than a supposed referee rigging the games.

I sometimes feel the same. But as Kore said the level they are playing at is so close that anything can happen on any given night. Thats why they play the games. Thats why they play them! If it was that given why even play them?
I feel like i am the king of bad beats...lost a large under last week in a game where 22 points were scored in the last 30 some odd seconds...how is that possible???
Anyways if you are as smart as you say...bet live in game..it should be able to read when the fix is on!!
Some advice stay off Cleveland and Golden State they seem to not cover spreads and play to tge level of lower caliber teams.
In my opinion the game last night was San Antonio playing a tired Denver team or a red hot Miami vs a crap team!

So wouldn't which players were gonna get calls from a particular crew,be the same as fixing a game to get the outcome you want.If a referee is making a call based on anything other, then its the RIGHT CALL,then he is fixing the game,to get the outcome in the game,of what he wants to happen in the game.

And I believe he plead guilty to fixing games,he didn't go to jail for basing his picks on "PREGAME INFORMATION"thats for sure.

Actually if you knew the entire story the truth is that he even supplied picks on games in which he didn't officiate so no that's not fixing a game. It's using information that's not readily available to the public and making bets based upon that information. Saying he fixed e games means he was in games and made calls on purpose to directly effect the outcome in his favour. That never happened

yes consistency in which a single individual can effect the game is very important. if the Warriors came to play tonight, they could have hit a ton of circus shots, winning by 30, weve seen it.

so for this game to be rigged, a single crooked individual would need to 1. be reffing and willing to risk his career or 2. be playing and risk his career.

on top of all of that, even with an inside man working against them, the Warriors might still cover the spread. other refs make favorable calls, other players play well, etc. wheres the benefit if "rigging" isnt 100 percent accurste? the easiest most accurste and least detectable would be point shaving, and again, that doesnt help on a night when the boys are laying bricks.

you can cry foul but in the end, youre just crying

    It's not fixed....  Well maybe.

    NBA is all about scheduling

Know the spot.... Know the fix.

Now can you "Spot" the fix for today?

    Sacramento B2B

Suns and Warriors.  If you were playing on Sacramento and you had this schedule coming up...

Which team would you rather show up for in front of your fans?

A Suns team you already beat?  Or  vpower house golden state.

Now we have to conserve our energy for one of these teams....

Try losin an under in the final seconds of double overtime. U wanna talk bad beats? Come see me. Many games have no betting value at all. Patience is the key. If u play 10 games a day u will have many bad beats over a long period of time. Think about all the bad beats Vegas has taken. Do u see them crying? B smart and study so u have a better chance of being on the right side of said fix

Your meaning to tell me,that he is just telling his buddys what teams to bet, just based on some little information he tells them about an official  not liking a particular player or coach. So then that official would make bad calls on that particular player or team, therefore making that team lose or not win by as much as they should. So he is saying other officials are fixing the outcomes of games, but he wasn't,he was only relaying to his friends what team his peers were looking to fix the game against, yeah that sounds likely.Sounds to me like the whole bunch of them knew each game was not being officiated on the up and up.That might be what the league wants you to believe, that he didn't bet on games that he was an official on,but that's just their cover up.

    "some little information"?

Dude, I can tell you exactly how people I know personally in my life will react to various situations.

You're telling me knowing Joey Crawford personally and professionally as well as the players in the game personally and professionally wouldn't help you immensely in handicapping what goes on in the game?

Heck, just being that close to the game period would help, let alone being able to have conversations with these guys.

Last year yes but not this year. I think "Durant" is the new saga. The Lebron one was finished when he won the title for Cleveland last June.

I see we got agents in here already claiming it's an honest game lol.'
There is too much money involved to let an outcome be decided by chance.

Just be in the correct side and don't pout tho.  Just remember its entertainment.

It's kinda clear they want Lebrun to go down as the best ever.  That's why there has been many mj vs lebron debates this year.

Lol 82 games, crazy schedules, these are the best basketball players in the world. So anytime, any game, anything can happen. If you let your guard down, or just mentally tired, worst team can beat the best team anytime. Playoffs are however a different animal.

How would knowing Joey Crawford benefit you in anyway handicapping a game,if that's the case, his wife must be one hell of a bettor.

"Heck just being that close to the game period would help".What do you mean "that close to the game'he is the one refereeing the game, nobody is getting any closer, to being able to control a game then him.he can change every play that happens, just by blowing his whistle.

Your Joey Crawford's wife argument commits a logical fallacy. No one mentioned Joey Crawford's wife or has any knowledge of Crawford's wife's NBA expertise.

This is an irrational argument, and a false equivalency.

It is as if you are saying, "Jesus could walk on water, humans are made of water, I can walk on humans, therefore, I am Jesus."

It is a false equivalency and a poor argumentative device that only the dumbest of people will believe.

Ya,i don't even know where to go with this statement.

But I am a little confused, arent you the guy that said earlier in this thread that "Point totals can be rigged"and "large spreads can be manipulated"that sounds exactly like someone fixing games,so either they do it,or they don't.You cant have it both ways.

Bottom line is we ALL have taken some bad beats, and we will always remember those opposed to the "breaks" we have received over time as well.

Gambling is like the stock market....you HAVE to be in it for the long haul, and you are going to see your share of ups and downs.

Im in the middle of a "down" run and just trying to go on on TILT and remember that tomrorrow is another day.
