Don't think for a second what Kawhi has been up to for the past few days isn't going to serve as a huge distraction for this team.
  1. Rockets +3.5 -109 (3x)
  2. Rockets +9 / Jazz -5 -120 (1.5x)

I agree, LC.

But that also means there goes the Raptors future tickets. Might as well tear those up.

Oh it's definitely going to hurt, trust me I was more than upset to read that article this morning. Still months before the playoffs to get on the same page but I'd be surprised if they come out firing on all cylinders tonight

You can always hedge with the Celtics. Unless they have a major injury, I see them coming out of the East. The Raptors have shown that they don't have that killer instinct. In that last game against the Celtics, Boston had almost a 2-1 advantage in assists. They played like a team at the end of the game, with multiple players making big shots, and the Raptors were a one-man-show: relying on Leonard (the guy who will likely leave them next year) to do everything. That is not a winning formula.

Leonard just bought a mansion near LA...and he just bought one in Toronto.  So rumor mongers are up in a tizzy.  All it really means is that he hates to pay rent and likes to own his own digs.  And he can afford it.

I don't think it will affect them in the playoffs that much to be honest, the Raps are so hungry for playoff success after all their failures - I still prefer them heavily over Boston and they still should have homecourt by then which will prove important

You're missing the point. I wasn't saying anything about it affecting his free agency, I'm saying regardless of his reason for doing so and even if it's just an off-season vacation home, even if just for a few days I do see it being a distraction in the locker room. I'm not fading them for the season, or in the playoffs, i'm fading them tonight.

Silly silly silly. Kawhi would love himself a ring with Toronto don't you think? Find better reasoning to fade Toronto Vs. Harden other than him buying a house. I think every NBA star has a home in LA

With due respect, you of course are the better capper here. But Rockets have yet to defeat a good team with Capella out. They got smashed by Philly and scraped by LA and Knicks. Weird to see them +3 to Raptors yeah?

KL was out for 4 games due to "Load Management"....I guess closing on a mansion next to Phil Mickelson is quite a load.  Rapts have great depth, exact oppo of Houston, though there are rumblings that CP3 is itching to come back tonight.

 

Anybody have intel on Kawhi's relationship with teammates?
