Just a poor poor showing here. The Cavs have reverted back to the Cavs of of old just as I endorsed them. It was unfortunate I had to write them up. But keeping with capping Shi+, sometimes you get shi*

I noted we should go moderate on a 2 star play. This was more for fun as I noted despite the monetary bump we took.

The sizable play will be on 4/2 and well get everything back and the some assuming we are laying a reasonable amount. And we will be laying points.

I have to cap when I have windows of time which have been few and far between. I had a window last night and the season is coming to an end. If I stick to my plan to cap once a week, I can only cap 2 more times (to capture the shi* teams).

Apologies. We went moderate (or should have), we are still at about 70% and it will come back to us.

I should just stay away from these short line games. Like the laker Knicks game, the proper play is the tease on these teams. Doesn't help anyone saying that right now.

Still I wanted to challenge myself with a tougher game but I'm thinking more and more I shouldn't do that. There are thousands if games and I should just cap the best spots period.

Thankyou for the write up. It was great just like the other ones. The bet was good but in dealing with the lower tier teams this sort of garbage happens. It comes down to having a little luck. 3 Points inbetween a win and a loss means the brooklyn backers got lucky and vice versa.

For those with the dumb negative comments in here. This guy writes some great write ups with good angles. Keep it up scal you do a fine job and its great to read someone's actual opinion on a game instead of these pick this or pick that posts.

Tough game Scal. I did appreciate your response as it gave me something to think about. I completely understand your perspective in regards to real world versus the vegas world.

At a very you age, my dad taught me that if you want answer to certain things, all you have to do is follow the money. Sometimes that becomes an overshadow to the game itself for me. Obviously there have been many lines throughout sports history that have begged for money and have come through to win. I honestly did feel that this line was off in its opening. Despite having played the Nets, it wasn't necessarily the correct play even though it won. It really was too big of a number for me.

The other thing I wanted to mention was to me, the signifier in this scenario of the line movement was to attract more Nets money, meaning there already was a significant amount on Cleveland. Combining my predisposition of the line being off in favor of getting Cavs backers plus the movement made this a relatively confident play for me.

Of course, I say all that with the fact that the imaginary gap made by vegas, as you said, doesn't translate to the court, that they are separate entities. I guess I can't help to follow the money even though quite often it doesn't pan out. I can honestly see now why you cap a few teams and leave it at that. The percentage of success of your methods in the long will prove a lot higher than almost every other imaginable process.

Looking forward to your future reads my man.

I guess I can't help to follow the money even though quite often it doesn't pan out. I can honestly see now why you cap a few teams and leave it at that. The percentage of success of your methods in the long will prove a lot higher than almost every other imaginable process.

Looking forward to your future reads my man.

There are thousands if games and I should just cap the best spots period.

cant win all scal.........we get them next time..........thanks for you collaboration.

There is no such thing as luck or not luck....... you're either on the right side or the wrong side.

When a team loses 2 or 3 close games in a row in OT in spots where they have laid down and got easily buried that should ring some bells in your head. The calibur of play over the past 6 weeks between these teams is night and day.... I'm not trying to sound like captain hindsight here and be a dik but for everything good the Cavs did over the last couple of games i can come with twice as much that the nets did well. Remember, Fade them Cavs on 1 day rest.... play them on B2B and on 2 days rest.

Pay attention to brooklyn in the playoffs.... dont be scared to lay the money when they play chicago in a 7 game series. Chicago will get their shiit abused hard this year by them.... forget what you remember from last year.

You are trying to make a game of chance absolute here, "something is or is not". That fully contradicts all the principles of chance and is what you make up to explain random events that really have no sequence to them. The idea to fade all the Cavs game on one day of rest is just an example of that. It's all about chance, and there are no absolute rules to that.  There was a good chance the Cavs would cover this spread and they missed out by 3 points. If this was 30 points then yes the bet would have simply been wrong. A bet gone wrong by 3 points is unlucky in my book as there was a real good chance it could have made it. Anyway this was not my favorite play of the day that was Pelicans as I entered in the streak survivor and bet it myself. They covered by 7, spread was -6. So won by one point, yes I was lucky on that one

Listen..... chance is flipping a coin and seeing if it lands on heads or tails..... you're not taking a chance here..... you're making an educated assumption based on research and analysis.

This is isn't for you if you're basing shiit like this on luck....

Yes you do your research but after that is done and you played your card, it's all in the hands of chance and luck will decide if you are a winner or loser. There is no other factor when the game starts. If you want to live in a fantasy world of false securities then go ahead and keep thinking luck does not exist. There is only so much you can research and if you think you have invented the law of Cleveland " they never cover on a one day of rest" then go ahead put your house on it next time

No they cannot. With their season on the line and one quarter to play, and just to burn us, being inside the number at 8 to give us hope, they didn't score another basket until 8 minutes left in the 4th.

That is just atrocious. Unfortunately, the Knicks didn't win to dim their hopes even further and the Hawks simply cannot get a W so I know Mike Brown is still waving the pom poms with a "shake it off and let's get em next game" attitude which is ludicrous for a team this bad.

Knick backers who had this team beat them last Saturday have to be sick to their stomach watching the Nets roll them. This should have been the Knicks game.

I once thought Lebron James could return home.

I think the sun would explode before he did that. There is nothing in that city or on that floor to go home to, Kyrie or no Kyrie. Dan Gilbert is screwed for the next 4 to 5 years (in addition to almost he just suffered).

Lebron comes for 7 years, leaves, and the the consequence is 8/9 years of absolute misery for the team and fanbase.

    What a "decision"...

Thanks for the kind words. I picked the wrong game to cap last night, well the right game but the wrong side. Wish I fell in love with the Cavs one game sooner but it wouldn't have mattered since the knicks Kings write-up was on the same night the cavs beat the pistons and I wouldn't have written up two games.

Should authors who write a novel that doesn't sell, quit, and risk not writing a future bestseller? If you can write, you write.

All my write-ups will be novels (although I'm trying to condense them to save time) win or lose. That is a given.

For those with the dumb negative comments in here. This guy writes some great write ups with good angles. Keep it up scal you do a fine job and its great to read someone's actual opinion on a game instead of these pick this or pick that posts.

Much appreciated. I will continue to do so.

The line was just short when it opened at 9.5 last night in hindsight. That is why I should have stayed away. Other guys on here hinted at the same thing. I think we all would have been on board Cleveland big time if we could have grabbed 11 and would have pushed. At 9.5 it is only a 1.5 the other way but of course, the line moves against us 1.5 when I have write-ups, NEVER with us (only that Lakers Thunder game did the line keep rising for us and it never mattered since they didn't need points in the end).
