I have $4000 on the MAVs ML

Right or wrong, I am not going to regret it.

Only thing I am slightly worried about: Mavs don't play again until Dec 27.  Could their minds be pre-occupied right now?  I say no, since they are on the road where there are less distractions with holiday shopping and what not and lets not forget the Mavs spent a good half a month AT HOME while never playing back to back games. They are fresh while Orlando has been on a long road trip and to go with this trade, I can't see any other reason not to bet the Mavs.

4k is broken down to 3.6k in pinnacle at Mavs +136 and 400 on Mavs +135 5Dimes.

So funny I have almost the same bet going on. I'm kind of getting worried.

I am not gonna lie I was pissed when I placed these bets at 1:30 AM EST last night only to see huge money on orlando bumping the line close to Dal +5 and ML of +160.  Oh well, I had trigger happy fingers haha

Too much money on one game IMO.

Gambling on sports is a lot like a roulette spin IMO...

It's all about money management.

But the bet looks solid.

And I understand that people have different bankrolls.

I put $100 on GS +3.5 and that's a moderately large bet for me these days.

Dude, not all people qualify under that reasoning. For some, 4 grand is a typical play. You can't say his bet is too large because he could be sitting there with 65k in his account for all we know.

By distractions with holiday shopping, my line of thinking goes like this:

Say Dallas is playing this game AT Dallas where they flew home this morning and stayed with their family and looking at the schedule they are off until Dec 27 which is their next game, they are MORE LIKELY to be distracted with family stuff, holiday shopping, kids, etc.  However, since they are staying on the road, better team bonding, less distractions, which in my view makes Dallas a STRONGER bet. 

The reverse can be said for Orlando, poor team chemistry atm, no practice time, back at home, more distractions.  I think Dallas wins this game, and with a practice or two, you will see a more spirited effort from Orlando when they played the Spurs.

when teams have a long break they tend to play harder.....more time off and to rest

lets go MAVS
