i'm not as qualified as you guys... but the spurs and mavs strike me as very similar this year, and atlanta gave dallas trouble at home. i'm not too sure that i like the spurs-6.  you never know what can happen with an athletic team like the hawks and with an on-fire duo of joe johnson and josh smith.  i'm all over the denver -7 at home though.

They are similar in ways, but I think Spurs have a superior defense, and better offensive sets. Don't get me wrong, Dallas has better offensive weapons, but when it comes to execution, I think Spurs rank higher.

IMO what sets Spurs apart from Dallas is that they have a guy in Ginobli who has the ability to slash and go to the rim hard. Dallas is primarily a jump shooting team, and when you're not shooting well, you need to go to the rim, which they don't do quite that well.

I think the Spurs can get the job done in Atlanta tomorrow. I need to put in more research,and should decide after the football game. Hopefully these Broncos don't choke.

Some good points.  I live in Dallas, so I'm a huge Mavs fan.  I've got a lot of respect for the Spurs.. so much so that I didn't bet on the Mavs/Spurs game because you never know what's going to happen between those two teams.

IMO, I just think that these Spurs may not be in dominant form yet, and the Hawks do look better than in past years.  Granted, when they beat the Mavs, Josh Howard was serving his suspension, so the Hawks didn't really beat a complete Mavs team.

I just think a line like that -7 for Denver is very appealing. I don't think the Bulls can do as well against high octane offense like the Suns and Nuggets.  Plus, Deng may be out.

Deng said he'd be out for a "Couple" games, and mentioned missing the Denver game.  The Bulls' lone win vs a depleted Clippers team, who was supposed to suck anyway, wasn't all that impressive.  I had 15 units on it, but I wasn't confident until maybe 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
 
The Bulls played their best ball of the year, and tallied 92 points. 
I'd take the Nuggets.  I'm not a big fan of laying 7.5 points, but I think it's a good play regardless.
