Don't get me wrong here, I think utah wins this game by a bunch. What I don't like with that number is the possibility of a backdoor cover.

Right now AK is not listed injured.
 
DuY - Are you not concerned that this is b2b game for Orl with NO being tuff at home? I know CP is listed doubtful but will his absence make that much difference?
 
I would really appreciate your input here, as I think you and Allyjm are the best cappers here on NBA.   I have been following your threads but I do not like to tail and I am always trying to learn.

2 factors on the B2B.

a. Physical fatigue

-- No I don't think so. It's still too early in the season. And for crying out, these guys are not paid millions to limp around after playing a game.

b. Mental  fatigue

-- If anyone can quantify this or even give me a formula, maybe I'll include this in my capping.

With CP not playing,  Hornets are somewhat losing+/- 22 easy points. Why?  11 assist X 2 points. 

Easy poiints comes from, fast break alley-oops, and the defenders Cp draws when he's riving leaving the likes of Peja and MO pete wide open.

I know Hornets just beat the shit out of Wolves, and the reason? They are the wolves.

Thanks DuY.    Never to proud to get a lesson from a great capper. I hear a lot of cappers on here worrying about B2B games, but I can see your point. This will come into play at times over halfway into the season and I guess then depending on the team, the previous game and who they will be playing. I really appreciate the insight!!  Stay

Obviously Paul will miss more than one game, which is a shame considering how well he has been playing this season. Let's just hope he is fully healthy within a week.

Re Orlando...
Not just a B2B game, but one could argue that the Mag-Celts Game was the biggest game in the NBA so far this year...
AND then travel  to New Orleans....a winning team that played well without CP last game...albeit v. the T-Wolves.

How do take that win as a negative? ORL has been great this year as well and a win is a win, even if they did give a big lead thay were able to hold on. Don't know that it is a positive, but I certainly would not take it as as negative.

I'm a little confused as to why you would question the pick. Both teams are in the bottom 5 in points allowed (Sea 107.4pa and Mem at 108.9). Both teams had a day off and I'm looking for them to come out scorching. Memphis shot 37.6% and Seattle shot 45% in there earlier meeting. Quarter scoring went as follows:

1stqt. 51pts./2ndqt. 55pts.

3rd qt. 62pts./4thqt. 35pts

Don't see the 4th quarter collapse happening again.
