Hey Milkman
you've been around this site for a while from what I hear maybe you can shed some light on this. JLB was a capper that became really popular and people started tailing him. JLB recently posted on his twitter that Covers offered him money to post square playes. Do you believe this?

The Pacers/76ers line is now 194.5. This kind of change is'nt good for the under isn't it?
I adjusted my line now to:
IND@PHI UNDER 196.0
I think the increase in the total is maybe because Iggy will suit up for the 76ers. Other than that, I don't think there'd be much difference. It's either both teams go way over or end up 10 points below.

My line is now at 195.5 for IND/PHI. People slammin the over. Am I missing somethin?
I rarely pay attention to line movements for totals. Usually something's up if the side moves in favor of the one a lot of people is betting on. As for the total, I don't really think it works that way unless the line is so low or way high. At say, 194-196 the line is pretty average and wouldn't really tell you that the OVER should be the play because of the two point increase.

So many injuries for the Nuggets and they're still favored at -4.5 to the Suns?
I think i'm ready to jump on Phoenix at +4.5 as i see another upset happening.
What do you think, CMM?
Definitely. If I still have spare to use for betting I'd throw it on them. Suns though is a whole new different team without Hill. He's a pretty consistent scorer, defender, actually almost doing all the intangibles as well for Phoenix. After Denver's last few games, this team looks like they're looking forward to the trade. Melo seem to be acting up.
I think the Nuggets are favored because of the home-road record difference of both squad. I think the Suns is a pretty decent bet.

the portland game is going over.. 203 is to low to call the under for a NYK game. portland will be running tonight , theres no choice is not like portland has lock down perimeter defenders .. the only advantage is REBOUNDS but what team dosent have that advantage over the knicks.
It would go OVER if NYK can get over POR's defense. See how they limit transition/fast break points for the Heat? I believe they'd have to use the same style of defending on the Knicks to keep them down. The way to easily win them over is stop Amare from getting to 20+ points and I'm pretty sure it's either they somehow stop it with their team defense or Amare let's Aldridge neutralize his points production.

Yah - I thought I had a winner with MIA / PORT under as the line was sooooo low and EVERYONE was playing the over 183..........it was kinda close in regulation, but still went over, and then OT happened and POR went from almost winning outright to not even covering..............
But tonights I have some reservation with as everyone here is betting the UNDER and the line has risen - though Milkman has a resonable explanation as to why.
Let's have a GREAT night all. ![]()

That's crazy stuff man. I checked his twitter to see his hammer plays and most often than not he loses. I doubt Covers would offer anyone any money to post plays.
Looking at it on a business perspective, I don't see them benefiting from what ever amount they use to pay anyone to post square plays. Covers doesn't have a control on which site a forum member is betting on and so why invest on someone to post square plays?
I see a few number of people (mak, kapono, CMJ, t-9, 44-dimes, orange, scal, bator etc...) who can cap games and go winning left and right and see them the next day or even the next month still posting/hanging around the forum.
