First off, if you want to curse and act a fool then this is not worth it to me. I dont act tough over the internet, feel me? Internet tough guys are LAME. One reason this board has dropped tremendously over the years is because people bring NOTHING to it. I made a comment that I stick by 100%. You disagree, thats okay but dont generalize your belief by saying they ranked 6th in the league in defense and then say Im posting bullshit. That generalization did more to prove my sentiment correct. I showed FACTS stating what they have done over the years at home. I didnt say they sucked on defense thus they lose game. I said they are lacking on the defensive side of the ball this year, which statiscally is CORRECT. I dont care if they avg 120 a game they still gave up more 100 point games at home than the previous years. I dont care whose on the court, if Joe Smoe dresses for them, and walks onto that court in the Quicken Loans Arena donning a Cavs jersey then he's apart of my sentiment.

We are both wrong. They have given up a 100 points 9 times this year at home. 2x as many as last year.

i still haven't seen anything from the Cavs to warrant them being considered the favorite to win the championship... they had the best record, and all, but clearly some teams were not as motivated during the regular season as they were...

i still think the Celts are going to give them trouble, and that will go at least 6 games...

Another tactic that you unsucessful tried to use to discredit the information given to you....is that:

Look here statistics are not based on "woulda coulda shouldas". If player A or Team A achieves something on the court it is marked into the official game log. Once the game is over, history has been written. In the history books they dont note how many triple doubles Lebron could of had if the Cavs didnt blow out such team by 40 and he had to sit the 4th quarter.

There were years where NO TEAM scored more than a 100 in Detroit against the Pistons when they were on top of basketball...hell I'll out go out on a limb (w/out researching) to say the top teams in the league didnt score more than 92 points win or lose during their mini dynasty. So I dont want to hear the nonsesne that they gave up a 100 because of this that or the third.

Also I never said the Cavs weren't a good defense I said they are lackluster (this being said countless times already) BECAUSE THEY RANKED #1 last year in the category of ppgs and ppg @ home.

Simply put the Cavs haven't played lackluster defense this year. They are a top notch defensive team and people that know basketball see that simply by watching them not looking at stats.

You brought statistics into this argument, when given the information you debunk it by stating BS. So to end this pointless convo with you. I'll put into lamen terms... last year the Cavs gave up a 100 points 4 times at home. This year 9. Last year they ranked #1 in defensive ppgs, fg %, and second chance points. This year they rank 6th, 4th and 7th in those categories.

These are not post season stats that you posted son? You actually just posted some incomplete post season stats in your last post.

This is what VegasVeteran wrote to challenge my initial statement. But I guess since I debunked this and use the tool that he used (which are regular season stats) all of sudden the regular season doesnt count for anything now. Now his argument is based soley on 2 games at home vs the Chicago Bulls. Okay

So now based on your theory Cleveland was not a good defensive team AT ALL last year because they didnt match up well with the Magic...another contradictory. So as the #1 ranked defense they sucked and lost and now as the #6 ranked defense they're much improved? You're acting a fool online, its not a good look.

The Cavs defense all year has been lackluster IMO. Hell look at how many games they given up 98-105 at home. But that can be attributed to the faster pace they play at now...I guess

My argument has been steadfast on the above sediment. Your original rebuff was on them being the #6 ranked defense this year. I counter that with statiscal information from this year and last. Now you're talking about 2 games into the playoffs. I have no clue what you are talking about and you have switched positions on this matter too many times to count. You've LOST...stop it...please

I'm a fan and bettor and I think when it becomes obvious they've got to be more defensively intense they will be.

Cavaliers will sweep the series. Every Cav who had a poor or mediocre last game (Shaq, Mo Wms for example)  will cycle up and the Bulls are going to get smashed next game.

Uh oh....this great Cavs defense is on display at home giving up back to back 30 point quarters on their home court. I forgot all about this thread until my feelings about their defense arose watching them give up uncontested Boston layups and jumpers.

120 dropped on the Cavs at home  

This is 2 out of the 3 home games the Cavs have given up 100+ and over 51% shooting from the field to the Celtics.

and ps. the Cavs dropping 125 against the C's in Boston was impressive but Boston is an AVERAGE home team. This on the other hand was troubling...I would of never saw this coming. On top of the LeBron took the night off.
