You too, knucklehead, with your continual nonsense about the refs favoring one team over another.  Wasn't this the group of refs that were supposed to be all Warriors?  You're just like Tweedle Dum.  The Cavs win one game and you can't wait to spout off!  See if they can win three more.

    Bob,

Are you well? You've started so many threads this playoff season that have been so far off, BegginerBoy had to suggest you were playing a reverse jinx role on all of them after they imploded.

Anyhow, what has changed for the alleged 'hedgers'?

The series price is almost exactly the same as it was before game 1: -225 compared to -210. And does anyone think that if Cavs bettors haven't fully hedged out already (we have a grand total of ONE who will make a WHOPPING 21% return on his bet BEFORE Lebron, Love, Mozgov, JR, Shumpert even came to the Cavs (wow, nice return for the near impossible happening)?

They will of course let it ride. And in letting in ride, they will get nothing as I said all along.

I actually liked the Cavs this game. Didn't bet on it but I'm not surprised in the least that they won.

It's the classic "Player out/Other Players step up" theory and it works like a charm during the regular season. I've quoted it in many a write-up.

The problem is, when that player is out, the opposing team that lost goes and plays someone else.

Not the case in a 7 game series.

You think the Warriors can't gameplan for Matthew Dellavadova? Did you see Draymon abusing him in the 4th, just backing him in like he was a tackling dummy to score easy layups.

Folks, they are too banged up, and too many spare parts that need to step up (and tonight showed how they can whither) which means the Warriors will take down, as expected. And the alleged hedge value of virtually no better then before Game 1.

I certainly never thought it would get to 3-0 so if the Warriors win the next game, it's 2-1, right where it should be.

And if it gets to 2-2? Warriors have home court with 3 to play.

    I'm confident in all scenarios.

What was that about a foot in a mouth Bob?

Oh, yes....my foot....in your mouth...bite my big toenail off for me please. It's getting like a talon.

Gosh, yeah, I wonder why it is so quiet!

I mean, I only responded to the Cavs win before your post nearly THREE QUARTERS OF AN HOUR EARLIER than your comment 'where is that smart behind scale' (and it's Scal you buffoon. Not Scale.)

wtf... its not that complicated, what a regular gambler would do if they got clev at 30-1 is ride it out and hedge only on the finals... would never consider hedging sooner dont be ridiculous.. i guess if you placed huge units then MAYBE some ppl would hedge "to not loose" on the semis.. but not to make a profit.

On the finals you can choose to hedge for profit or not... but to say that getting the cavs at 30-1 and then it got to like 3-1 and to think that it doesnt matter is just ridiculous... you think the ticket is worth nothing until it has cashed... i would Bet large amounts of money that you could actually have sold that ticket at different points in the season for around 3x to 10x what you got it for.

And the whole hedging opportunity is Money right now, i dont care if its not 3k roi... the ticket is making money rtight now

scalabrine, not sure wat games you are watching my man but based off of wat we've seen so far the warriors have got their hands full, with the cavs in this series up to their eyeballs....suggesting anything else is simply wishful thinking or coming from sumone partaking in sum seriously strong hallucinogenic shiiit.
now ive seen enuff basketball to know that a series can totally flip/change complexion at the drop of a hat with one adjustment or big statement win...but make no mistake, the warriors will have to do that and make an improvement cos obviously wat theyre doing aint getting it done....think about it,cleveland just walked into oracle,"fortress of invincibility",and damn near took away a 2-0 lead if it werent for a shot missed by a few inches....twice they played a bit of bully-ball,rode lebron for all he's worth and twice bossed the game for large parts and went to OT.and for half of it they were missing their second best player!!!.....if we're just using wat we've witnessed for evidence there is zero reason to be steadfast in your belief the warriors havent a care in the world regarding wrapping up this thing.
you are truly being pig-headed and stubborn if you will not at least concede that this is the case thus far...hypothetically,if it were sumone else taking this sort of concrete stance i reckon you wud be tearing strips off them......a team that is in a totally different class to another does NOT let wat just happened happen, plain and simple.......ya think shaqs lakers or duncans spurs have 2 in a row like that versus sixers and nets??..not on your life.but the gulf doesnt appear to be anywhere near that great here.

in sports it is totally foolish to not remain flexible,it can make the most well credentialed "expert" look stupid and i must admit the cavs have got even more fight in them than wat i had suspected, tho i did expect a 6 game series that the warriors controlled nonetheless.......i still maintain they will turn it around and water will find its level as it always does...variance shud catch up to clevelands rag-tag group and the talent and versatility and shot-making of golden state reserves must come to the fore.so i havent flipped but am not too arrogant to give lebrons guys the respect they deserve.
can you honestly sit there and say you believe that this is the mis-match you have trumpeted it as being?

The line jumped from -850 at tip to below the series open at -240 to -210 now that they lost -- when is the last time you saw 610 cents movement on any game or series Scal?  Was it an upset?  Because in 20 years of gambling every time I saw a line move like that it was.  And you think the public is going to back the Cavs now right Scal?  Good luck -- 80/80 on the Warriors spread and ML in Game 3.  Guess Vegas ready to pay all those sharp Warriors backers who moves a -500 line to -850 right?  Why not right?  I mean no Kyrie dude you are totally on the sharp side again.  I won 4 units tonight -- totally wack bro I know -- and I can hedge tomorrow and guarantee .75 on the series.  What a joke right?  Can you make sure to right up an extra long response?  you are cursed man and your curse is overreacting to everything -- and your curse is losing this bet and this series -- you can still buy out -- but you won't and you will lose.

Curry is a boy, LeBron is a man and a champion. Blatt is also the better coach. Kerr has no experience.

Blast is not the better coach. Cavs offense is completely unorganized.

No with your other hand, find the lighter fluid and make your way over to your stove top.

Speaking of Stove Top, grab some from the cabinet above, because the books stuffed you good as the Cavs odds fell like an anvil.

You think the books are scared of those 30-1 tickets? Please. They will be fanning their face with them after you drop them on the Bellagio book floor, 30-1 or 3-1.

    Let me say this:

You lose to two teams that are completely awful at the moment AT HOME, in the Knicks (who are going through extreme growing pains and god knows when they will be able to implement the triangle effectively), and the Nuggets (who BeginnerBoy appropriately said was an automatic fade at the moment), you are not winning the championship. The Cavs should be wiping their feet on these teams while the Knicks and Nuggets use their own towels to wipe the Cavs as*.

The league is destroying these two teams right now and not one but BOTH, come in and assert their will on the mighty Cavs.

I'll put it to you straight:

    1) Although there are many new faces, the core of the Cavs that were there when LBJ arrived can only be described in one word: LOSERS.

I followed this team all last year.

This team, KYRIE included, lost AT HOME to a Laker team that had a guy playing with six fouls because they didn't have 6 healthy players.

This team got SMOKED by a Hawks team that was universally derided as tanking, all the while the Cavs (fairly embarrassing that they had a shot at the playoffs with 32 wins at that time) playoff hopes hinged in the balance.

Kyrie is a dog. He'll put up great numbers and then the grumbling and disenchantment will begin when the wins don't follow. Then his play will drop off.

Waiters? A talented troublemaker and guy who will refuse to fall in line when things go sour.

Varejao? Past his prime. Playing motivated ball for now but he only has so much left in the tank. Thompson? Will fade like a fart in the wind.

    Guys they brought in?

Miller - looks like he's done. He'll show up at some point but this is no longer a guy who plays clutch playoff basketball.

Marion - a mess right now.

    No bench.

Love - a guy who is a fantasy league dream, and that is what his playoff history looks like...complete fantasy. Has won nothing and plays matador defense. Golden State fans must be overjoyed this guy stayed out of their uniform.

LBJ - The greatest player in the world decides to spend his offseason coming home....and making commercials while losing muscle mass.

Folks, write it down right now: those tickets ARE TOAST.

If they should ever get to the finals, the representative will smoke them like a cheap joint. I'd love it to be the Spurs to have LBJ smacked up twice in two cities.

Lastly, and something everyone is overlooking with this roster: the camaraderie.

Wade was a good friend and immediately handed over the keys to the city when LBJ arrived, surrendering his team for the ultimate reward, all while still being one of the best players in the game.

Bosh knew EXACTLY what he should be and when to be it: A third wheel. Allen? Along for the ride and knew when he was needed picking up the slack when other guys were lethargic.

And now LBJ has to have similar camaraderie with Love, Kyrie, Waiters, Varejao and a guy named Tristan? PLEASE!

And remember, the Heat DID NOT even win that first year with a MUCH stronger team than this one!

You have to go all the way to cash those futures tickets. All the way as in, win the final game of the 2014-2015 season or guess how much you get:

    Absolutely nothing!

Sorry guys, this futures goose....is cooked.

And please, bump this thread in some alternate universe if they should ever win it all.

Not gonna happen folks. Save your money next time and buy a soda pop.
