I use race motorcycles at the track for fun. I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan at a race event and the guy was so damn rude to me I couldn't believe it. Sure he could have had a bad day but cmon man your an idol to us 90s kids.... He is a piece of -------- Person. Personally, I don't think Jordan could bounce from team to team and always make the playoffs like LJ. But that's just my opinion..

If Jordan played now he would be as hated or more then LeBron. He was a terrible human being just we didn't see it on TMz.

1+1=2, he was a horrific human being.

And he also had a male lover (the male part is not an issue for me) 48 years younger than him (he was 16 and that IS an issue) and also had him get plastic surgery so he'd look like Liberace's son.
Another second to none talent that had aspects of their life well, to use the word disturbing is putting it mildly.

Not that it really matters. Too late now. Warriors -260 to win the Title. The Warriors actually play Team Defense.
But it would shock me if he is not backing the Cavs.

He's going to have a problem going over this year. Last year, he was trying to regain his title (and livelihood) from Matt Stonie and did so convincingly and he ended up destroying Stonie. It's not like he's taking his foot off the gas this year but he killed Stonie by so many dogs last year, he doesn't have to get over 70 this year.
The drive isn't there. The title already sits with him (much like it sits with the Cavs, and that hurts them this year). And there really is an upper bound as to how many dogs you can down in 10 minutes. It's not like you can go to 80 or 90 etc. Humans, even the most elite competitive eaters are only so capable.
Right now I'm leaning under (poor value obviously) but I want to see if Chestnut competes in any events prior to the 4th to give us more clues.

Jordan would NOT be as hated as LeBron or hated at all. Yes he was a jerk but unlike in Kobe or Lebron's case Jordan was EXTREMELY CHARISMATIC AND GOOD LOOKING! What does looks have to do with anything? For the same reason when an ugly kid misbehaves and he's a misbehaving kid, if a good looking kid does it he's a mischievous charming kid.
Mike had an aura about him. Lebron doesn't. Lebron is ugly, he joins superteams, he's generally nowhere as likeable as Jordan. Ever listen to to the great players he robbed of championships back then? Reggie Miller, Patrick Ewing etc, they all talk with great admiration of the guy. They loved to hate him back then so did opposing fans. Whereas in Lebron's case they just hate him.
Jordan was the kind of guy that even if you hate him you secretly think he's awesome. He just had a way about him. Yes looks and charisma are apart of it but also that he was the most intensely competitive guy to ever play in the NBA. Then you have Lebron creating superteams and even then whining..we need more help. What a tool. Still, I'll give Lebron respect for the he did in Cleveland way back when he took them to the finals with a bunch of nobodies. But as far as Jordan would be as hated as Lebron if Jordan played today. That's a joke.
Refs loved Jordan. Fans loved him even opposing fans.

Kobe came close to Jordan but he was a just an imitation. Kobe was awesome and charismatic too but he tried too hard to be like Jordan and it showed. Jordan was just Jordan and there will never be anybody like him again. He was a killer.
I see these threads from these kids pondering outloud who is better, Jordan or Lebron and it makes me snicker at their cluelessness. Jordan dominated in a league when big men were allowed to dominate. Can you imagine what he would do with today's rules? Damn.

Come on. The league was not full of Hakeem the Dream's bud.

love the write up Scal but disagree on the live betting input. There has been countless times where a team will start slow and you get a much better line than the opening line. However, it takes discipline (not continuing to second guess yourself) to know when the team you wanted to bet on starts hot and stays hot that you missed your opportunity and just walk away ( i.e. game 4 for all the Celtics backers). But, when you see opportunities like Boston vs Texas (MLB) when the Rangers were up 3-1 and you know it was only a matter of time I was able to absolutely hammer the Sox and the result was a 9-4 Bo Sox win

Not getting pist off man
All I am saying is that after having seen both careers (one yet unfinished), and having the web as a resource to find out everything about a player and how they interacted with their team, LBJ wins out. You can take MJ. I'm taking LBJ. You'll come around. You'll see. It will just take time.
The big turnoff is ESPN (the square's square network) lauding him day in, day out.
But remember, they gave MJ the athlete of the century award over BABE RUTH. This is what they do.
