(a really bad team and a LOT of points to cover on the road, the Nets have to be the WORST team in the league right now)

HOU - 8 over MIA

Houston will win. But, why is the line only -8. Bookies don't usually make mistakes like this. I'm doing it anyway.

CHI -5.5 over DAL

Dallas and Chicago are weird teams. At least Chicago has Jimmy Butler and home court advantage.

SAS -12 over MIN

Someone mentioned the MINNY coach plays the Spurs tough. But, the Spurs have to kick the crap out of the Wolves to regain respect.

LAL over DEN

Are the Lakers worse than the Nets? It's close. But, I don't think the league wants the LAL to lose 2 straight at home. And, that's where DEN comes into the picture.

Parlay: TOR -- HOU -- CHI -- SAS -- LAL (all favorites and one pickem)

Am I missing something why would the league not let the lakers lose 2 in a row? Isn't the Lakers one of the worst teams in the league?

So we are all agreed except for the LAL.

Are the bookies giving away free money or is there a trap game in there somewhere?

The LAL are a TERRIBLE team. Just awful. BUT, if they do not beat the Nuggets, I don't see them winning again until New York (and that's 8 games away).

The more desperate team is LAL. Not sold on them, because I hate betting on BAD teams on a losing streak. But, there is a logic to it.
