PistolPete, if you liked 8 points before, how do you like 10 points now? I wish I had time to go and check to see how teams play after getting beat by the Bobcats. No team can just shrug off that loss. I had bad experiences betting on the Raptors on a West Coast road trip, and I'm concerned with how clueless they've looked without Bosh for 1.5 games. I might skip this one, then check in at halftime. If they cover the 5.5 for the 1st half (but not by too much), I might give them a shot then.

Are we talking about the same Kings team that was down by 24pts at the half to worthless Miami?? I know they came back and won, but I expected that cuz that was Miami. 2day is a different story, 2day it's the LAKERS! Kings can't play defense worth a shit. Look at their last 7 games, giving up no less than 107pts. I think it's safer to play the over on this game. I see it around 128-109 Lakers. GL all.

No, doubt, betting against the Lakers is scary when Kobe's going hog wild out there. We all know he's good enough to lift the Lakers past any bad scheduling spot they find themselves in. If he puts forth one of his virtuoso performance tonight in Sacramento, I'll probably get beat. Hopefully he'll be at least a little gassed after playing 51 minutes and doing everything but selling popcorn on Sunday.
I agree with most of what you say but I don't think the Lakers will lose on this day. Sac does not play any D at all and the way the Heat blew them out in the first half last game, I can not put $ on Sac....I just can't put money on a team that looked like **** the game before and had no business of winning (they only won because they were playing the Heat

Wow, the Kings are getting dogged pretty bad for a game they won by double digits and covered the spread. Sure, they embarrased themselves and their families by falling behind by 23 points to the Heat, but I say they more than made amends by eviscerating them 71-40 in the 2nd half. Ask anyone who had the Kings -7 that night if this team can't be trusted at home.

How's the bookie ever going to break you if you're ALWAYS getting the best of the deal by "a point or so"? I think the Lakers are giving at least "a point or so" too much again tonight, and that's why it's a play. It's far from a sure thing, it's just a play, and a good one in my opinion.
It's not surprising to me that you don't think much of the Kings chances tonight if you've already convinced yourself that the Lakers "could have very easily covered" against Dallas. Me, I thought the Lakers played like SHIT, and that it was Kobe's otherworldy 2nd half show that was just barely enough to save their asses in overtime.

Big mistake on Sunday, wonwiththehook! Don't try to guess when a scalding-hot team is finally going to flop. Wait until they show some signs of cooling off. Back-to-back pointspread losses is a good start. Don't worry about not being there to cash in the night a long winning streak ends, because the value in going against a team that's falling back to earth will be there for several weeks.
The Kings have been beating the better teams at Arco Arena this season with offense, not defense. They've averaged 112 points in those 8 home dog wins. I'd go over if I was forced to choose, but I'm not so I won't. I can't stand rooting for overs.
