Are we talking about the same Kings team that was down by 24pts at the half to worthless Miami?? I know they came back and won, but I expected that cuz that was Miami. 2day is a different story, 2day it's the LAKERS! Kings can't play defense worth a shit. Look at their last 7 games, giving up no less than 107pts. I think it's safer to play the over on this game. I see it around 128-109 Lakers. GL all.

Bator, I wish you'd give my Lakers a little more respect as a team. But, when it comes to gambling........I posted this in Odomisinthemob's thread last week on the day of that Blazers @ Lakers game. Since my post the Lakers are 1-3 ATS and should be 0-4 ATS if not for an amazing late cover against the Heat. As gamblers, the point is that we need to take advantage of inflated numbers (like the Patriots)...

I don't mind betting against the Lakers from time to time. When it comes to $$$ we all know we have to put aside our affection for our teams. I think the OVER is definitely a play...the Lakers are scoring at will right now, in EVERY game! Also, 15.5 is a heck of a lot of points. IF, once again IF I were to bet it I would take the 15.5 with the Blazers rather than lay the 15.5, BUT, the way the Lakers are ballin' right now I'll more than likely just stick with the OVER...although the more I think about it 15.5 is damn juicy!
Another thing we all need to remember...sports gambling is a lot like the stock market. What goes up must come down. Now I believe is the time for bettors to start making money against the Lakers, the numbers are grossly inflated as we can see with this line at 15.5. The Lakers are not only winning, but, they're on an amazing ATS run of 12-1 in their last 13 overall (something like that). So, smart bettors will probably and should probably start taking advantage of the numbers now. Remember how the Patriots started? Unbeatable right? They were gonna beat everyone by 3 TD's or more, right? Well, they were something like 0-9 or 0-10 in the last half of the season (including the playoffs).

OK Pistol, you got me. Didn't watch much of the early season. Still my recent stats are valid. The Lake show crushes bad teams. I just don't know how well SAC can play here.
Gonna take your advice and pass.

Thanks for posting this, I'm gonna stay away from Lakers -4 (B +1.5) and Lakers ML in my parlays incase you are right...but I'm not reversing my SU bet of Lakers -5 I put in last night and I certainly can't do much about the Lakers -.5 that I teased last night....
I agree with most of what you say but I don't think the Lakers will lose on this day. Sac does not play any D at all and the way the Heat blew them out in the first half last game, I can not put $ on Sac....I just can't put money on a team that looked like **** the game before and had no business of winning (they only won because they were playing the Heat
)......
So with that said, I hope the Lakers win exactly by 6, so we both win

I could not disagree more with you on this play tonight and the overall fade of the Los Angeles Lakers. Yes, the Kings play very well at home (18-10), but the Lakers play very well on the road themselves (21-11). Not counting the the Miami Heat in there, the Lakers have been victims of 3 straight ATS losses. 2 of the 3 games not covering by a lousy 2 points each time, including a spread of 15.5 against the Blazers @ home. The SU loss they suffer to the Blazers came as no surprise when you shoot 48% from the field but a terrible 18% from 3pt land, in comparison to the Blazers who hit 53% from the field and an amazing 48% from 3pt land. Not to mention the Lakers collapsed in the 4th, losing it by 9 points. Again this is not surprising since they just played in Miami the night before. Which brings us to the most recent game the Lakers have played, the Mavs game. Favored by 6.5 against the Mavs may have been a point or so high, but the Lakers again played well and could have very easily covered in this game against a Mavs team that is far better then the Kings, whom the Lakers play tonight! The Lakers don't have to travel as far for this game, and have had a complete day off to get their legs back and play a less talented team in the Kings. The Kings last played against the lowly Heat and covered for the first time in 5 games, but will they be ready for the Lakers out of gate after playing their previous game against the Heat? The Lakers have won the past two games when traveling up to play the Kings by 11 and 4 respectfully. Not to mention the reverse line movement that is currently taking place in this game...-6 to -5 with a lot of early money on the Lakers. One last thought...Lakers on one day of rest 19-13-1...the Kings 12-15-1. Backing the Lakers...Hoping it drops to 4.5! GL

Hey Mr B Great post. Those clipps were useless last night champ. I noticed at half time that you had them for +5 aswell. Just a quick question when capping games. If I like a side for the half and the whole game then what is the correct % that I should put on for the half and for the game??? Last few weeks Ive been playing 25% half 75% game. Is that about right??? Thanks
