Miami is a one person team and that one person is possibly hurt. Nobody doubts that D Wade is going to play, but the question is whether or not he'll be 100%, as in will he be the D Wade that can create his own shots and make them. We've already seen that Wade isn't driving the lane against Atlanta nearly as much as he did in the regular season. Without Wade driving the lane and then kicking it out to his role players, I don't see how they can create enough offense to hang with the Heat at home. We already know that Atlanta has a better defense and we also know that the Heat had a killer games from the three point line in games two and three (the games they won). In order to have those killer games from the stripe, they need to create offense by driving the basket; If D Wade can't create shots then that poses a big problem from the stripe.
So here are the reasons I like Atlanta to cover 5.5.
1. D Wade is hurt which will make it difficult for him to create shots.
2. Atlanta is coming home and I expect the crowd to be rowdy since it's a tied series.
3. Atlanta has a better bench and more weapons.
4. I don't think Miami can get as hot from the stripe as they did in Game 2 and 3. Moon is also out.
5. Finally, Atlanta has the momentum since they had a convincing win and they're coming home.
Comments are welcome. I want to know what you think. You can fade or play.
Although, I rarely post my plays, I'm hitting around 65% for the playoffs.

I don't know, if you give me 7 points (which is where this could be headed) even with a banged-up Dwayne Wade, I would probably have to get involved with the Heat at that point.

I agree with you that there are other players, but could they win a game without D Wade. I think not and that is what I mean by a one person team. Without Wade, this team would go nowhere. Atlanta could still win without anyone of their stars, but Miami couldn't win without D Wade.

Your right they could not win without Wade. But he is such a drama queen. You could see him looking 100% tonight and be angry as hell. He had spasms, they come and go

I agree about Ben Gordon. He played decent when there was a chance he might not play at all. However, his fg% wasn't great. He hit big shots. Anyhow, Gordon doens't run that team alone; he has other players, but if D Wade is off, the heat are screwed.

I agree Jwheels. I pulled the trigger before the line moved. Now it's up to 6.5 at some places. I hope the books are trying to stop sharp money because I see a lot of people on Miami. That's good news for us.

Wade will get a bit more help from the refs tonite. So far not a lot of FT have gone his way in the series.
Were basically on the same page, miami w/o Wade cannot be trusted point proven the other night missing 17/26 shots that is not Wade that is a liability.
I woudnt be surprised to see Wade hit 40+ if they sort his back and burn the Atlanta backers though so im on the + 6 for a measly dime.

I hope you're wrong sharpster. I personally would be surprised if Wade came back less than 100% and put up 40+. I have to think that the Hawks will be coached well enough to stop Wade from running all over them. The hawks are more physical and hopefully they'll get some home court love.
