Before the suns/blazers game the series price was around -240 for the suns. For some reason 5dimes did not take the series bet off the board. Its the same line after a suns win. For those of you who like the Suns for the series. Go to 5dimes and put in your bets

I cant see any reason why the series price would be the same after a suns win.

The Rose Garden is a very hard place to get a win in

I wouldn't even regard -240 a mistake. I'd grab POR and wait for game 5. Seriously, the Blazers were happy to get a win in PHX and game 2 was just nothing to them as displayed by the 29 pt drumming. Now back at the Rose Garden... don't be surprised to see POR up 3-1 and 2 unders before Game 5

How in the world is a series bet the exact same price after a win?  I've been gambling and following sports betting for many years. Never ever seen this before. Does the Suns suffer a injury to a key player?

I understand you wanting to bet Portland, but you CANNOT be serious about taking +210 or w.e they are right now.

Superior is right, there is NO WAY the line can be the same after a game, regardless if the Suns were a big fave or not. The series line opened was -550ish before the series and dropped to -240 after game one. My guess is that it will go to -325 or so with the Suns win. The -230 is definitely a good price.

i dont' know about Utah..its a 7 game series, anybody can win a game against anybody a la March Madness.  I do like PHX, there is no way POR can sustain it.  They can win quarters, halves, even games.  In the playoffs, its all about Adjustments so teams just have to go against their one trick pony of Andre Miller/ Aldrige to get the win.  Whereas Suns can through everybody including their ponytailed Noah/Varajae impression at Portland for the win...eventually.

As for Utah, it'll be a close one.  Wouldn't bet the house on it either way since Denver is a collaspe or two from giving a free game (like yesterday) and Utah always looks gassed come the fourth quarter.  Two Achille's heels for two pretty evenly matched teams.  It'll come down to the refs and who Stern wants

I agree Rose Garden is very difficult - Suns will be lucky to go 1-1 there.  Besides Portland gave up on game 2 quick.

I will probably have a guaranteed $310 dollars.  not the best idea as a lot of money is tied up, but free is free

    thanks bud

there is no reason for the series price to change from game 2 to game 3...

that's a fucking TERRIBLE bet, i'll tell you right now... Phoenix is a bullshit team, that plays with no heart, and is the LEAST CLUTCH TEAM I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!  and i don't just mean this year... i mean EVERY year... Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash are basketball studs, but they are also two of the biggest choke artists i have ever seen... they simply have NO IDEA what it takes to win when the pressure is on... NONE!

Portland plays with heart... you want to put your money on a team with no homecourt advantage and no heart, at -230, and you are trying to convince us that is a good bet?

    fuck no!

take the Blazers... anything better than even money is a bargain...

anytime man. Only thing is that your bet is still pending?  I put down 4,700 to win 2,000 last night and now 5dimes took my bet off the board. Are they even allowed to do that?

Then the line goes to -6.5 and 5DIMES went to -8.5>? Not sure what they they got out of that and may have won both ways? The lines I started looking THEREhave been way off everytime?? Or their staregy whatever that would bve to decieve bettor, which aint kool with me! They win on "supposedly", just juice, and obviously get boned with one side one night, or makea killing off a game! But they win, whatever and I after taht %DIMES, lines??????Just an opinion? PG

Ice you are completely lost in this conversation. I am not saying I WOULD PERSONALLY take them at that price. I am saying the price WILL be higher then that. The line was -240 BEFORE game 2, obviously the price will go higher regardless of who we believe is going to win the series.

I am not saying Phoenix is easily going to win or any of that shit. This conversation is simply about the line and what it will be. You are completely missing the point.

Wow I missed the last part of this. The series price was Suns -500 to -600 before the series started. The Suns are 8 pt faves at home and I see they are 1.5 pt dogs on the road. HOW THE HELL CAN THIS LINE BE ANYWHERE NEAR PICK EM?!?

Lol cmon man you are better then that. I completely respect your opinion that the Blazers can win the series, but you are completely out of your mind when it comes to what this line should be given the opening line.

you definitely sounded like you are endorsing a bet on the Suns at -230, the way you phrased it...

obviously i wouldn't bet on the Blazers at even money... i am just saying that anyone thinking there is value on the Suns as a heavy favorite to win this series is delusional...

If I knew I could get Suns -230 without the sportsbook cancelling my bet (which they did) then ABSOLUTELY I would of taken it knowing I could get Blazers +300 (maybe more) and guarantee profit.

So yea I would endorse someone taking the Suns at -230. Without a doubt.
