Not exactly the way I planned but it worked. The only thing I got right was Lewis shutting down the Yankees (for the most part).
I'll stick to my guns for Game 3 and go with Cliff Lee. No reason not too. Pettitte is a better "go to" option than Hughes but Lee is still Lee. I'll certainly have to adjust the rest since, if Lee DOES win, the Yankees are NOT going with Burnett down 2-1. 
If you think, going into the playoffs, that the Rays were really the best team in baseball, all the power to you. I do not.
Explain how the Rangers' offense is better than the Yankees? Hamilton has 1 homer since coming back from his ribs injury and was NON EXISTANT in the ALDS. I much rather have Posada, Granderson and Gardner at the bottom of my lineup than Moreland, Molina and Murphy.

Well I don't expect him to pitch lights out. I'd be dumb to say that. But Hughes has a history of pitching well in Arlington. I do understand he pitched poorly in Game 2. Maybe it was the back to back extended rest that got to him. His pitches were up and you can't win like that.
All these could be excuses...but I guess we'll see tonight.

Opinion. No money on the game. And it's not like I projected a Yankees sweep. I was right for Game's 2 and 3.
And what's wrong with my hitters comparison? It's easy to say it was beyond wrong towards the end of the series. Hamilton has dominated the Yanks...but going into this series...what has he done? You can't be right all the time...but my "predictions" have been right 4 out of 5 times so far. Hoping for 5 out of 6.
