All the Yankees fans were talking up Padilla like he was Jesus.  Now, that we smoked him, it's "You beat Padilla, he sucks"

And, we did it to two of the most dominant closers in the game...Street and Broxton

I agree lets not post anything like that sparky until we at least get to the world series.  I am rooting harder than anything for this yanks team to get a 27th championship but lets first finish off these angels.  A loss on saturday and anything can happen in a game 7.

    Well written.

NYY are going to beat LAA ( a great team), what has phillies accomplished? Beating LA? LAD is a shitty team offensively. Any team has a chance against them, you just need to score 3+ runs.

4-1 yankess, if I get -180 or less juice on yanks series it might be POY for me.

Watching the game last evening was thinking what a great game to view but then started thinking if it was the champs inthe closeout spot they probably would have found a way to deliver the knockout punch.Just another thing to remember about that intangible called HEART Yankee fans. You guys obviousily have the edge at home with 2 games but it would have been nice to move on ,don't you think.

Phillies are the World Fucking champs. They want it more than the yanks and especially want to play the yanks to make it that much sweeter. Last year was destiny this year is dynasty!

Other than A-Rod and Jeter, which Yankees could actually step into the Phillies line-up.  Posada? No chance, Ruiz is better defensively and at the plate.  The Phillies have so much more talent that this actually could be a sweep or a 5 game laugher for the Phils.

Not only are the Phils way better on paper, but they are also way better in clutch situations.  From what I've seen of the Yanks in the post season, they are completely incapable of getting a hit with runners in scoring position.  Even A-Roids gaudy numbers are solo homers and RBI's in blow outs.  I love Jeter, but other than that, I wouldn't want any of the Yankees on my club.  Overpriced bums who haven't won a big game in 8 years.

since i live in pittsburgh the worst baseball team in 17 years.  My gut feeling is to go with philly in the world s but if the yankees get in i feel they are the stronger team especially the bullpen.  which philly is having problems with.

Lets just elaborate on the "clutch" situation with A-Rod. His first home run came in the bottom of the 9th, down by 2, to tie the game against Joe Nathan, one of the best closers in baseball. His 2nd home run came in Minnesota in the 7th inning down 0-1 to tie the game. His 3rd home run came against the Angels, in the bottom of the 11th inning, down 3-2, to tie the game.

Ruiz better than Posada? Thats funny. He had 1 good series...now I assume he's with Jeff Mathis as the top 2 catchers in baseball right? You obviously haven't watched an Yankee games this postseason so I guess I can't rag on you too hard because obviously you are just getting this info out of your ass so I'll let it slide I guess.
