Yup...because me posting this is going to change the outcome of everything. If just posting something is a "jynx" why doesn't someone post in the "Las Vegas" forum that they are going to Vegas to lose all their money, then come back with a ton?

Well, if thats the case, then Lidge and Park are two of the best relievers in baseball.

    Hypocrite.

Yes...and you were talking about the World Series while you were still in the NLCS. Difference? Nope.

Padilla pitched very well against the Phillies in his previous start, which was the reason why I thought he'd pitch well. I was wrong. Durbin, Park and Lidge haven't faced a lineup like the Yankees. How are they supposed to keep this up?

Your right...I don't know how those guys will pitch against the Yanks, it's all assumption. But I'll stand by my assumption.

A Rod will fucking choke so hard in Philly if you get there.  Kid couldn't do shit in Boston because he was scared out of his mind with that crowd all over him.

I'll be third base side game 4 heckling the shit out of him.

    Welcome to Philly.

A-Rod is not Longoria. And how fair is it to compare A-Rod to Feliz? Why would you compare the best hitter with the best hitter? Comparing the 4th man to the 7th man isn't fair especially when there is a .300 point difference in average.

I admire your effort Sparky, but there is no use trying to have an intellectual discussion with the Philly fans that are present here at covers.....I'm convinced they have their heads buried in the remnants of that shit that is scraped off of Geno's grill.....you could tell them the sky is blue today and they will say its Philly red.......the teams will have to decide it on the field....and, like I know you do, I for one look forward to that

Yanks obviously need one more W to set that up....today is a tough matchup....I have much respect for Lackey and Burnett, as we all know, is vulnerable on the road.....I really hope not, but it might take a Game 6 to get this done

You watch Baseball Tonight after the game. In a HUGE crowd they were setting off dud fireworks.  Even John Kruk said "I said they were good fans, not smart".

And I'm usually cool and collected when it comes down to this stuff but I just kept getting sick of Philly Fans/Yankee Haters saying the Phillies will own the.

And even if it takes until Game 6, thats fine. Sabathia will still be ready for Game 1, Burnett Game 2 and Pettitte Game 3.

And I really want to go to a World Series game but I refuse to pay $1000 for 2 tickets. It would be a great experience but thats just too much.

its all good that u have confidence in your team and all but so do i ...all philly fans aint bad just like all yankee fans aint bad  but this team has so much heart yeah i sais it heart , that i dont see this being a runaway series like you do ....i see the phillies in 6 or 7 . Right about now everything is coming together for the phillies just like last year . This is a special team that knows its never ever out of a ball game . to be honest i see both teams as very similar teams in that they can win any time in the game and have explosive lineups ...we do have the managerial edge just like in the series with LA  yeah charlie out did torre AGAIN !!  and if the phillies lose ill be the first guy in here to congradulate you guys ....im not gonna stoop to the level some have in this thread calling out philly fans here on covers ,,,,

I'm just doing this because people like jsab and Stuckey have been calling me out. I felt I had to back myself and my team in this situation. I respect you and philly_fan a lot more than others. My fanhood was being questioned and I couldn't let that happen.

I really don't care who the champs play but I think its an easier path with the Angels.Sweep the Angels, beat Yanks in 5 still the same outcome.

Sparky I have not been calling you out,I just am extremly confident in the Phils to win the WS in 5 games.Just because the Yankees are involved doesn't mean that I am going to change my mind.I don't want to be ignorant anymore to anyone but I feel taht the Phils are the best team.

Us Phils fans feel the same as you guys so to be honest we will only find out in a few weeks who is best and then hopefully both sides can let it rest.

All that shit you talk about this guy being better then that guy............When it comes right down to it don't mean a fucking thing in a 7 game series. Its more about hitting in the clutch, defense, pitching, and all in all there is very little difference anyway. Bottom line is now get this SPARKY my man...Phillies got more heart and plenty of talent...bottomline.....Phillies in 7.... win it in NY to put the !!! to it.

Not going to happen.Only thing in the ER will be Yankee fans from vrying or getting a Philly fan beatdown like Ricky said in his thread.
