Thats the thing. The pen decided all 3 games of the ALDS for the Yankees. Even Game 3 where the score was 2-1 after Pavano departed. Thats not much. But after they gave up 2 more in the 9th...your not going to beat the Yankees with a 3 run lead in the 9th. Proven fact with Mo. That is why the Yankees have the most walk-off hits in the majors. They thrive off beating up the bullpen. They're the comeback kids. And if they get to the point where they foul off pitches and make the starters work...that's their bread and butter right there. If they throw strikes consistantly like Pavano...then it's a different story.
