The fading of Nola shall continue until he proves it's a bad idea. Plus the Phils offense isn't hitting lefties, and Schwarber is still out sick. Burns shut this offense down last night, and Abbott has been exceptional as of late, so he very well could do the same thing.
Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 +164
I can't pass these up. Last night came down to the wire, but the offense combined with the O's pen, got us where we needed to be when the game was over. Baz has been bad, and while he is going up against his former team, he doesn't have good enough stuff to just get by on adrenaline. Diaz got hit on the hand by a pitch last night and will miss at minimum todays game, but this offense can make up for him not being there against this staff.
Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 +150
Kelly is coming off a complete game, 4 hit, performance vs the Rockies, and the start before that, he went 7 innings only giving up 3 hits to the Mets. While his ERA is a very scary number, his last two starts show some signs of hope. The Dbacks bats are starting to come alive too. Arenado is starting to pull the ball for power, and thats a huge complimentary piece to the Carrolls and Martes of this team. They are staying in town for their next series too, so only getaway day for the Giants, and their offense already sucks, so I can't imagine we get super focused plate approaches this afternoon in the desert.
White Sox/Mariners Over 7.5 -115
We got this exact match up two weeks ago, and both starters got shelled. The game got to 20 total runs. Burke hasn't been good all year, and Hancock has been spotty. The pale hose offense though leads MLB in HRs in the month of May, and have the third best OPS in the month too. I'll take the familiarity from just 12 days to prevail today.

Man, I haven’t watched a single pitch of college baseball this year. Tony Vitello is a friend of a few of my friends, and when he left Tennessee, I stopped paying attention to NCAA baseball. But it is very entertaining, and I watch the post season when I can. Check out Noah Bieniek on the tweets. Guy knows his stuff.

Junk has been figured out it appears. His last two starts he's given up 11 ER on 17 hits. It appears Walt Weis is doing some tinkering with the line up order, moving Harris to the two spot with Baldwin on the IR, and moving Riley down to the 7 spot to try and get him sparked. Even without his production, this line up is hitting just about everyone. Sale is still doing Sale things. I almost did -2.5 @ +165 but felt that was getting greedy.
Milwaukee Brewers +100
This like makes zero sense to me which is a little frightening, but gotta go with what I know. There isn't a phase of baseball that the Cubs are currently better than the Brewers at. The Crew is now healthy on offense. Their bullpen is steady as always. And the pitching staff has been great. Harrison has been just as good as Miso has, just doing it from the left side. Cabrera can't give the Cubs any length, and their pen is a mess.

For almost 2:1 on my money, I had to take the extra run, especially with how great McGreevy has been recently. He's gone 6 innings in all of his last four starts, allowing only 2 ER, and striking out 21 along the way. He's the ace of this team. Winn is back in the line up too, which adding speed to the line up is always nice. I'm high on Mlodzinski, but in only one of his last 5 starts, have the Pirates scored more than 2 runs. Their bats remain a problem. Plus this "Tarps Off" thing seems to have brough life back into Busch Stadium, and the players/managers are loving it. It's been a minute since we've had anything to be excited about here, so this is refreshing.
Athletics/Angels Under 9.5 -114
Civale has been better than I remember him ever being in Cleveland, but I could be wrong on that. He's gone at least 5 IP in all of his last five starts, only allowing 6 ER in that span. Kochanowitz has been knocked around his last two outtings, but after watching him pitch a couple times earlier in the year, he has good enough stuff to keep the Halos in the game, he just needs to keep the ball in the yard. Angels offense stinks. Real bad.
