If you want to see crazy results for MLB, you should go through the Covers Contests and look at some of the big hitters---especially the team specific big hitters! No offense to LVL, he's good for the forum---but some of those guys that never post and only compete on Covers Contests are incredible.
PS- My opinion on Mariners, Blazers, and Ducks are completely homered. LOL! Those are my teams when everything boils down.

Are you serious with the contest picks? I have clicked on some of the leaders picks and I don't see a lot of strategy there. All they do is just put the max 500 bet on all the teams, they pick only underdogs with the + money and even if they lose a pick they don't get hit with the juice. It's just sheer volume with them, their winning percentage is not great. Tempted to try it for one day and see what happens. Reminds me more of a video game and getting the most points than actual handicapping. The survivor streak is a lot more telling IMO.
