Jays are going with the bullpen start this afternoon, and their bullpen has been pretty solid all year long. It's their offense that is super frustrating. And the Tigers are in a similar boat. They are getting Casey Mize back from the IL today, and they desperately need him. Their offense isn't scoring any runs. They scored more than 3 just three times in their last 10 games. The Jays have only done it four times in the same stretch.
Arizona Diamondbacks -1.5 +108
Sugano has been touched up quite a bit in recent starts, and I think we are getting the more realistic version of him now. The Dbacks hit lefties well, and continued that last night when they beat up on Freeland. Rodriguez has been great as of late, only allowing 3 ER in his last 20 IP. Rockies offense is starting to come back down to earth as of late as well.
Phillies/Pirates Under 8.5 -115
Sanchez hasn't given up a run yet in the month of May, so that's a great start. The Phillies offense has been struggling (outside of last nights wild comeback), and Chandler keeps the ball in the ball park, he just needs to stop walking so many guys. The wind is going to be blowing in from right all day long, and a good chance for some rain throughout the game.
