Oh and we also picked up another lefty Sherrill and I've watched him in prior seasons with Baltimore and that man can close games. Our bullpen is one of the strongest in the game and they will shut the door on dat ass. On one negative note for the Dodgers this year Manny has slumped the 2nd half but I did like how he picked it up going 3-4 in the last game vs the Cardinals with two doubles.

On the Angels vs. Yanks I agree with your opinion that the Angels are the only team that can compete with the Yankees and stop them. However I do believe that if the Dodgers and Angels win that Dodgers will have a shot against them in a WS championship and love the fact that there will be no home field advantage as opposed to playing the Yankees at their house is not a comforting feeling.
I respeKt Philly as a good team however with their bullpen problems I just don't see them going all the way. Good luck to you Philly fans though. And heres to a great NLCS rematch.

Wheres the dude earlier in the thread who was sucking off Kershaw and telling everyone how much of a pitching advantage Kershaw had because of his Bill James man crush and sabermetrics? Watch some baseball. Cole threw a gem. Shouldve been 1 ER if Rollins didn't bobble the DP ball. Kershaw self destructed as I said since we are too patient.

Pedro rust factor could be huge. You'll be able to tell in the first inning. Have Blanton ready if need be which is huge and Chan Ho looks like he did back in mid season. Think the Dodgers could get one of their two wins tomorrow, but I'm biting on the Phils again with that ridiculous price.

This thread is funny. Stuckey your great I remember you touting memphis over syracuse last year too. I was going back and forth with you it was fun until we rolled you without the dorf..Anyway the only thing that stands right now is two things:
1. Dodgers can't buy a clutch hit right now. They had 16 hits game one and lost???? Kershaw got frazzed and he lost his stuff. Hamels did not look that much better but was good enough to win.
2. Defense will win series. As shown in both games if that trend continues phils could be in trouble.
1-1 right now and anything goes. Cliff lee should win tonight but kuroda rested is battle tested and will not give up 5 walks(just depends if he is really ready) If we can sneak this one out you never know.
