It is funny you mention Reg, your last comment about him was something he mention but he gets to upset with baseball that he did not want to start stuff . So he changed his mind but maybe now, lol

One of my favorite players, Mo Mentum, is swinging back again. Bettors are apparently not aware of just how good Assad can be, and Roupp is a pretty stable guy, but does not make your heart flutter, or your wallet to empty itself on the counter. I think the Cubs can jump him early, and Assad can hold the fort for 5 innings. That's the theory anyway.

Bettors are apparently not aware of just how good Assad can be, and Roupp is a pretty stable guy, but does not make your heart flutter, or your wallet to empty itself on the counter. I think the Cubs can jump him early, and Assad can hold the fort for 5 innings. That's the theory anyway.
OK, I will hole up in my Log Cabin (or was it Cottage?) and wait for his return. Old boys are tough and he will come around, but you weenies of the next generation will sink in infamy. Thanx for your attention to this matter.

There was a cubs game a few days ago, Rae vs Sugano. I completely missed the whole card due to work.
In hindsight(my best sight), I said "Christ al mighty, I'd make the Rockies a cool -140 with that matchup"
The Cubs were -160 from what another poster told me
Amazing what the team logo on the jersey can do to the set odds. With all of the Joe public lapping it up, completely clueless.

I am interested to see how Assad handles being a true starter again. And the Giants just seen him recently. Assad had em caught off guard with Taillon going down with injury.
But I agree, he is a talented kid. And the Giants don't like seeing ground ballers.

@undermysac Crying shame about work. How close are you to retirement?
I have 24 years in the union currently. 25 is one magic # to hit as the pension payout per month jumps greatly. 30 is the next and most coveted # to hit. I could get there fairly easily I believe, I'd be only 51 years old then.
