G's have Mo going for them. Jojo has the kids fired up and playing ball. They will load the left side and go after Peralta. Adell will be the only righty in the line-up. Only question Vogt has is whether to play Halpin or Martinez in the OF.
If Messick shows up tonight and makes it to the 6th, Cleveland has a chance to go home with a 2-0 series lead. Wow...unthinkable before the series began. Baseball is funny like that.
Cleveland has the better pen. Smith is the best closer no one has ever heard of. Took him 6 pitches to close out last night, all strikes.
Not a clear winner, no game is, but I like their chances also, as do the books, indicated by the short spot for this match-up.
Cleveland may be the October surprise team. Seems like there's always an October surprise every two or three seasons or so.
