Guardians/Tigers Under 8 -105
The Tigers offense has been dead as of late, with guys like Kerry Carpenter, Javy Baez, and Gleyber Torres on the shelf currently. The Guardians offense has looked much better as of late, but going through the starters they have seen, none are as good as Valdez. He got touched up in Boston two starts ago, but outside of that, he's a model of consistency. The wind will be blowing in from right, in the double digits, and rain is possible all evening long.
Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 +150
I don't know why the Rays are still getting these kinds of numbers, especially against a team like the Os. Rogers has been very bad. Giving them virtually nothing almost every time he takes the hill. He hasn't gone past 5 IP since 4/7, and the Os bullpen is no good either. Not sure how they plan to get outs. McClanahan has been untouchable in his last month. He hasn't even given up a run since 4/19. That's 21.2 IP without a run. In only one of his past 4 starts, has he even allowed more than 3 hits. For this price, it's worth the gamble every time.
Atlanta Braves -1.5 +162
More disrespect here to the Braves. Their line up is stacked, their bullpen has been outstanding, and it isn't like Ritchie is Miles Mikolas or something crazy like that. He has four MLB starts, and has never given up more than 3 runs. He has some control issues, but Miami isn't the most patient team in the league, so he may get away with some misses tonight. Again, the number is too good to pass up given what the Braves have accomplished this far.
Sacramento Athletics -130
The Angels just got outscored 31-3 in their last series, and now get rewarded with JT Ginn. He's only given up 1 ER in his last 14 IP while striking out 11 and walking only 2. The Angles offense is pathetic, especially now that Trout has cooled off a bit. Urenas numbers in May look good, but its against Cleveland, the White Sox, and the Mets, so maybe they are a little inflated by bad offenses? I'll fade the worst team in baseball for a short number.
White Sox/Mariners Over 7.5 +100
Woo has been hit and miss. He's either pretty damn good, or not good at all. And Schultz has certainly had his moments too. But the Sox offense lately has been thumping. Scoring 5 or more runs in 8 of their last 10 games. The M's aren't hitting lefties worth a shit, but their May has been better than their April, so hopefully the trend keeps rising tonight.
